Anyone have any tips or tricks to getting that perfect spot where there’s no blade play, but the action stays great? This isn’t my first knife, and I usually have no trouble.
I got a mini grip not too long ago. It came in basically perfect. I bought some scales (more on the budget side). Took it apart. Worked fine. Changed my mind on the scales and went back to the ones it came with. Now I can’t get it right. It either wobbles a little or won’t budge. Never had this before.

I have a friend in a tier-3 city in UP, India, with a BA LLB degree, practicing law for three years. She works 9 AM to 5 PM, 22 days a month, getting paid ₹300 to ₹500 per day. Sometimes she doesn’t get paid at all. Despite her qualifications, she hasn’t been given any significant cases to fight, and senior lawyers—some aged 65-72—don’t offer any opportunities or retire, leaving her stuck. New clients don’t even trust her because she hasn’t been given the chance to prove herself. Eventually, due to family pressures and hunger, she had to give up her legal career and switch to a job as a picker and packer in a startup, earning ₹11,000/month for 7 AM to 5 PM work.

2024.11.30 02:30 sudo_96 EV Charger for 110 outlet that integrates with HASS so i can charge only during off peak hours

I have 2 tesla's and have the Tesla charger as my main charger. As a backup charger, I would like a 2nd charger that I can plug into a 110 outlet that I can automate with home assistant. This way I can charge and stop during off peak hours. Currently, it will start at 10pm and stay charging for days until its completely charged. Since it is a backup, I would like to only charge during off peak charging hours via home assistant automation.
As a workaround, I can add a smart plug to my existing backup ev charger but that doesn't seem safe. Would anyone recommend that or is there an ev charger that integrates with home assistant where I can start and stop charge times?

After some discussion Max found out from Gwen that the town had a botanical garden with some exotic plants. So of course he decided to take the kids there to see them.
"It says here they have divined to exhibits by continent, with one large exhibit hall for each except for Antarctica of course." gwen said as she read a brochure of the place.
"This fancier then I thought it would be." Max said as he look around the surprising large area.
"Glad to here you like it."
The three look up and saw an older woman around Max's age wearing a long dress walking towards them.
"I'm Pyrgo, the owner and founder of this place. And if I'm not mistake you're Maxwell Tennyson." Prygo said as got closer to the group.
"That right, do I know you?" Max said, wondering how she could have known him.
She giggle bit and said, "Well I did look different those many years ago, but I don't think you would like to go into details about how met you and Azmuth."
As soon as she said Azmuth Max guess how she knew him, and the name Pyrgo did right a bell. A week many years, ago on some forest moon after stopping Vilgax from getting his hands on some element X. A then young orthopterran woman wanting to show just how grateful she was, that was a fun few days.
"Oh that Pyrgro! I take it you're wearing an ID mask, so what made you descend to move to Earth?" Max said, a bit glad to meet an old...friend.
"So you're alien? Neat, and if you know Azmuth does that mean you're old plumber too?" Ben asked, clearly hoping the answer was yes.
"Oh, I take it they know about that part of your past. I guess I shouldn't be surprise they are Tennysons after all. As for Earth I hopped around for bit and land Earth to study some plants, and fell for the place. After all, they make some of the best men in the galaxy." Pyrgro said with playful clicking sounds that Max's blood plumping.
"Grandpa? Are you okay?" Gwen said while seeing the face of her grandfather.
"Oh fine honey, why don't you and Ben go see the exhibits for a bit I catch up a bit with my old friend. Max said with a smile.
"Wait, grandpa is she friends with the same way Xylene were friends with you?" Gwen asked in a suspicious look on her face.
"We'll talk about it later sweetie. Ben, I'm sure one of the girls would like to see the exhibts." Max said, clearly trying to get the kids to go someone else.
"Uh, you know I bet you're right." Ben said as walk away.
"Don't call someone who will bang the place up or burn it down." Gwen said following him.
"Girls huh? Sounds like someone takes after you."Pyrgo says with a devilish smile.
"Can't really deny that, he is a my grandson in all ways." Max said with a proud chuckle.
"Well universe can always use more Tennyson men, after all they are brave as their handsome, and go in the ways of love as they are war." Prygo said with playful.
"It good to see you again, but I think I would prefer to see you without the ID mask." Max said
"How about without anything at all? Tell me Max, do you still know your way around with an ovipositor."Pyrgo said with a lustful tone.
"Age may have taken my youthful vigor, but with age comes experience and skill." Max said in a tone equally as lustful.
"How about you and I go somewhere private to..catch up." Prygos asked with her hand dancing across Max's chest.
"Well first have to make sure the kids are taken care of. Then I will be more then happy getting reacquainted." Max said, getting closer to Prygo.
"Oh don't worry, I'm sure I have someone on staff willing to babysit for awhile." Prygo said her face almost touching Max's.
"Grandpa?" A familiar voice said.
The two of them pull apart to notice that Gwen was now standing there, blushing a bit.
"Am I interrupting?" The blush Gwen asked.
"Uh, it is fine dear. Is anything the matter?" Max said, blushing a bit himself now.
"Well, uh, I was going tell you that Wildvine is acting very..odd with Ben." Gwen said.
Max eyes got wide when he heard that name,"Wildvine? He brought summoned Wildvine?"
"Yes?" He thought she would like to see the plants, but she behaving odd. Especially while watching that pollination exhibit they are doing for some of the rare plants." Gwen said, while looking back and fore to Max and Prygo.
The horror on Max face grew even more when he heard just what Ben was showing to Florauna.
"I'm sorry, who is Wildvine?" Prygo asked, clearly seeing the look on Max's face.
"She Ben's florauna friend." Max said in a cold tone.
When he said that Prygo face turn bright red, clearly understanding why Max reacted the way he did.
"He brought a girl florauna with him here? Oh my they do start young nowadays." Prygo said here glowing red.
"I'm sorry, but what going on? Why is it a big deal that Wildvine here?" Gwen said, clearly very confuse about what she was missing.
"In florauna's culture when a man brings a woman to place like this it is a...wedding proposal." Max lied, not wanting to explain the truth to his grand-daughter.
The actual truth was that taking someone of the opposite sex to a botanical garden did have a deep meaning. And it was often married couples who would do this because of the meaning, and that meaning is that one member of couple is saying they are ready for children. Or to put it another way, they are ready for the act of making children with their lover.
"Ben asking Wildvine to marry him? I'm going to cousin-in-laws with a plant, and have half-plant nieces and nephews?" Gwen said, on the verge of laughing.
"Probably sooner then you think if we don't hurry." Prygo said
The three took off to the exhibit hall Gwen told them Ben and Wildvine was, the South America one. They found the young couple near an exhibit of cattleya orchids, with close to the orchids and Wildvine close to Ben. Smiling with her hands on her cheeks and her eye close. While the bulbs on the sides of her head were moving.
In terms of looks biggest difference between the five rooted leg Wildvine and a pure florauan was that her torso was clearly human-like. Which meant it was a good think she was wearing a black and white shirt similar to Ben's and a black short skirt. She also have green vine-like hair, or maybe they were hair-like vines.
"Oh Ben this just so much." Wildvine said lovey-dovey kind of way, all the while with her bulbs moving to Max's mild horror.
When adults female floranuna were aroused the flowers aside their heads would move, just like Wildvine's bulbs, and release powerful aphrodisiac pheromones. That Max knew full well work on a lot of species including humans. Lucky Wildvine was way too young to make those pheromones otherwise the whole hall would have broken out into something similar to what happened during Max's last visit to Flors Verdance. Which while fun wasn't something he wanted his grand-kids to apart of.
"He really does take after you doesn't he? Also is it me or his little girlfriend oddity human like?" Prygo said as she saw the two.
"Ben, Wildvine! You two need calm down! You are both way to young for this!" Max shouted, geting the two kids attention.
"Ben and Wildvine sitting in a tree, well I guess Wildvine may count as the tree in this case." Gwen said with a smirk.
"What going on? Why you acting like that?" Ben said, clearly confuse by what going on.
Max nearly kick himself, because of course he knew Ben had no idea what he was doing. So he quickly said,"Wildvine, Ben doesn't know what this kind of things means to a florauna and you are both to young it anyway."
"Oh,..Of course he doesn't, why would he." Wildvine said clearly a little disappointed.
"Wait, I'm confuse, what does it mean?" Ben ask after looking at the disappointed Wildvine.
"It means I get to be the maid of honor at the wedding doofus. Hey to florauna's wedding have flower girls or to do they have something else?" Gwen said, clearly joking.
"Wedding, What?!" Ben said ever more confuse.
"I guess that make sense to do that before the other thing." Wildvine said while blushing as deep and green hide could.
Max let out a sign and then turn to Prygo,"I don't suppose you anything here more age appropriate for a young florauna?"
"We have few activities I think you will approve of. Just one thing, where did she could from? We were at the only entrance and I would have remember seeing come by." Pryo said
"Hey Wildvine, if one of the sprouts is a girl could you name them after me?" Gwen said with a smirk and giggle.
"What is going on here?" Ben said, even more confuse.
