I recently heard that trade entries are up about 16% as of late. With the cost of postsecondary ed, continuing to go up, is it possible we will see a glut of people entering trade fields? Much like how some degree fields have experienced saturation. I hear from some that trades are "hurting for people", but I often wonder how much of that is just alarmism/exaggeration.

I'll be doing some travelling with my laptop, and I'm trying to keep my options for backpacks open.
Some of the smaller packs I'm eyeing have laptop sleeves that are too small.
In order to get a smaller day-pack, I might need to forgo an integrated sleeve, and get a separate case.

So instead, I was eying this, as it seems like it has good corner protection, and hard EVA foam for top and bottom.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find an OEM hard case from Lenovo. And this soft case seems to be a steep price step up.

 | When I first logged into Leagues on launch, there was a Fang sitting on the ground. I picked it up, continued to follow my guide quickly banking it, forgot about it until I got to 85 Attack today, and decided to pull it out and see if it would let me attack stuff. It did. I have a usable Fang (OR) despite not choosing Desert as a region. I've reported this in-game already, and it's going to sit in my bank as a trophy until Jagex removes it. At this point I think I have to admit that my child may have some sort of cognitive issue when it comes to letter sounds.
I am looking for two things:
1 - Your opinion on whether or not my child sounds like they may have an underlying issue
2 - Ideas for help.
Child turns 5 in 1 month. We have been doing letter sounds (no words) daily for 7 months now. Maybe we miss 1 day a month.
The goal, in the summer, was just to get him to know as many letters, and their sounds, as possible for when Kindergarten started in September.
Each night we spend 8-15 minutes doing a fun game that involves between 1-3 letters. Some games we have played:
Cup with the letter A on it: Put all the toys that start the sound ‘Ah’ or ‘ay’ in the cup. So Apple or Alien would both go in the cup.
We might do sound search. Put a bunch of letters on a page and ask him to circle the letters that make the sound ‘ah’.
Etc… weve probably played over 300 different kinds of games.
If I go through the letters that we have covered so far with my son on a random night, he will generally name between 2-3 letters correct, and get maybe 2-3 sounds correct. It is never the same letters that he gets correct though, it always seems random.
We spent about 2 weeks just on the letter A to start, but figured maybe we just had to move on. Over 7 months we have done A, S, T, M, I, L, C, K, P, D, G, O, and E.
For a stretch if time we did focus strictly on rhyming, and he was really good at that, so we didn’t do it for long.
Then we did word counting, which has also been very difficult, but he is progressing at least.
Really, it is just letter sounds where he has made basically zero progress.
Is this typical for a 4 year old?

Throwaway for obv reasons! I’ve always wanted to do an AMA, and I realized this might be something people find interesting. My father grew up poor but has made millions as a lawyer. My mother grew up middle class and has been a SAHM since my brother was born (1999). I’ve never known how much money they have in the bank, but over time I realized that we were extremely well off financially compared to the vast majority of people, like at least the top 1%. This past year, I saw their taxable income for the first time and realized that my dad has been making way more than I assumed, like multiple millions a year. AMA!

Why would you ever want a snake as pet they literally can’t form bonds with their owner outside of like maybe 1 or 2 breeds and even then it’s debated.
It’s just keeping a wild animal in unnecessary captivity and it makes no sense to just keep a snake over a dog or cat that you could actually bond with.
What’s the joy of having a snake you literally only feed and occasionally handle and other then that it just sits in a tank all day.b
