 | Hey guys! I have a 2018 340i with a bit of moisture in my headlights. My passenger side is worse than the driver’s side but it does happen to an extent. Especially this time of year when it is cold and wet. I don’t have any malfunctions with the headlights but as you can see, there is condensation in them. It goes away after a couple days but comes back again. In the summer, I usually go a couple months without seeing this condensation. Is it worth it to replace? These are OEM headlights and I don’t have a warranty. I was looking around and they are around $1.5k EACH not including install. So a full replacement would be around 4 thousand dollars. Thinking I may replace if they ever go out due to the condensation but, or get ahead of it and replace. I’ve heard bad things about non-oem lights but $4k is STEEP. Background information: I’ve never met this woman because we all live cross country from each other and she never reaches out to my husband. She did not attend our wedding and did not reach out to say congrats or anything.
My husband and I got married earlier this month. When we got our professional pictures back I posted pictures of my family and the grooms dad’s side. The reasoning is because I do not have the numbers of a lot of the grooms side and figured it was easier for them to see them and save them. My side is very large. And it was easier to post our family picture then send it to everyone. It has been two weeks since then. Today my husband and I woke up to see his aunt had posted on MY wall on Facebook asking why her side wasn’t posted. She didn’t bother to reach out to either of us to ask. If she had she would have known that my MIL and her family that came to the wedding and I all had a group chat where I personally thanked them for celebrating with us, shared all the pictures to, and chatted about how much we enjoyed seeing each other. My husband and I have also already sent out our wedding thank you’s and printed pictures of people if they were in them. I was shocked by the audacity to post this publicly on my Facebook. I reached out to her privately and said I did not appreciate her doing this and asked why she didn’t bother picking up the phone and try calling my husband or I before she acted this way. Guess what, never answered lol. My mother in laws mom called and apologized for her daughter’s behavior which I told her wasn’t her fault and there was no need for anyone to apologize but her daughter. She expressed how mad she was at her daughter for this. I guess I just had to share the crazy with someone!

Aloha! I’m a sound design student creating sound effects for my postgrad! And I’m in the process of recording sounds for “clunky” plate armour for a video game.
I’ve built up a wealth of props (mixing bowls, shovel heads, genuine gauntlets, metal plates of various sizes etc)
Something I am struggling with is removing the tonal and “hollow” resonance even from “flat” props…
I am wanting to dampen the metals resonance to create the “clunk” I am looking for but not sure what to try?
I’ve seen Bitumen may be of use but thought I would ask here.
