this has been on my mind, I’m 24, and honestly, I have no idea what happened to loyalty. Where are those kinds of friends you can call and jokingly ask to bring a shovel—no questions asked? like true, ride-or-die friendships are so rare these days. I just want to find people who value real authentic connections, and genuinely want to see their friends win. The kind of people who are happy for you when you’re doing well and support you when you’re not. If you’ve ever felt the same or are looking for that kind of bond let’s talk I could really use people in my life that want this kind of friendship.

And I'm wondering if, because of the temperatures, will we need to stay close to our lodge at all times? We're looking forward to hiking and exploring but I'm wondering how hard it is to do that with kids (age 10 and 5) during that part of the year. Do we need to stay close to somewhere where we can take indoor breaks every half an hour or does bundling them up really well suffice for something like a trip on a trail? Never done this before! Live in super hot texas. Thanks!

I need help. (coming out)
So I(13, closeted ftm) came out to my mom as genderfluid a while back. I knew I wasn’t genderfluid, I wanted to test out masculine pronouns because I knew I had horrible dysphoria and being a girl was shit, I just didn’t know what would work out best instead. The reason I didn’t just tell my mom “hey, I fucking hate being a girl and it makes me want to die, I’m gonna try being a dude, yeah?” Was because she has this view that all trans youth or trans people that aren’t passing yet are just confused. She thinks that the trans men with beards and stuff aren’t because “ohh they look like they tried real hard to be guys so, they are very sure.” so I knew if I told her I was “testing it out” then she would immediately tell me I was just confused, just a phase, yadayada. So telling her a definitive answer would sound more “sure” to her. She accepted it, with a “ok, I need some time to process it but I just want you to be happy” but then we never spoke of it again, she doesn’t use different pronouns around me, and I’m pretty sure she assumed I forgot or something. Well, in my time of testing out pronouns and names, I found out that I’m most DEFINITELY a dude. The only problem is, how do I tell her that? I have a whole script that I plan on texting her, but I haven’t had the courage to do it. She has openly bullied other trans people or said some jokes in bad taste but she switches up lots of times and it makes it really hard to predict a tone or reaction. Just overall tiring.
I need to come out by 2028 for a few reasons,
1: that would be the year I start high school, and my mom is planning to send me to a Christian high school (gayhater school pretty much) so if I don’t do something by then, I’ll have to live high school as a girl and i won’t be doing that. I’d legit rather die.
2: 2028 is the year that the re-election happens and right now, trump is president and if he goes thru with project 2025, HRT will be banned, a lot of queer support groups will be thrown in the burner, and overall right now is just a not good time to be gay.
I’m going to link the script I have in the comments since it’s incredibly long and I don’t want to overwhelm anyone that doesn’t want to read it (I don’t mind if u read it or not)

The last my career I played was 2k23, I recently felt like playing it again so I loaded it up and remembered why I stopped playing, team takeover.
I’m a bit confused on how takeover works in 2k25 but in 2k23 once the meter filled you were FORCED to take control of the entire team for the duration and there was no way to turn it off which is a deal breaker for me. I was thinking of grabbing 2k25 on sale for my career but if this is still a thing then I won’t bother.
So is team takeover still a thing or still like what it is in 2k23? If it just improves your stats for a bit that’s all good but I hate having to control the whole team, ruins the point of my career imo

We’re just finishing up a cycle of working muscle ups, or pull ups/C2B if you’re not ready for MU. I can dead hang well, do plenty of scap PUs easily, do box kipping pull ups and have been told I have a great kip swing.
However, if you take the box away and try for the kipping PU, I absolutely canNOT bend my arms to get my chin over the bar. Plus, my lats go on strike when I’m not on a box or using bands and goes right to my biceps. But the arm bend is driving me nuts! I’m really a lifter and suck at gymnastics/cardio. My lats understand the assignment, but outright refuse to work. Suggestions?

I was looking for online therapists and a promoted ad on Google led me to MindEngage which seems like a legit site. I received a text saying that I'd need to pay $156.00 for the subscription for 4 sessions per month.
I've texted with businesses in the same manner before so I didn't think anything of it and per their website, they had some good reviews. I even received a Zoom link for the session. I didn't think anything was suspicious until 5 minutes later when the texts started becoming more informal.
I decided to cancel the membership and ask for a refund a full 20 hours before the session.
Obviously, I didn't get any response. I will need to dispute it with our bank but I was wondering if anyone has dealt with this type of scam before? I'm concerned I'll have to dispute it every month.
