I come from a wealthy background, growing up no one I new cared about any social causes, as an adult I have different circles but the rich tend to not get involved or even care about social issues and the injustice in the world.

2024.11.30 05:38 hungry_boi82 My grandma just passed away the other day.
She turned 100 in August. Can't complain about that. Never drank or smoked. She was mentally/cognitively with it right to the end. I spoke to her a few days before she passed about one of her recipes, I told her I buggered it up. She just laughed and told me to add more tomatoes ❤️.
I'm always going to miss her and every time I cook her mince pie I'll think about her. She's with Grandpa now wherever that is. Damn it. I used to speak to her for a few minutes every second day at 5pm. It's almost that time now and it's going to choke me for a little while.
