I waited two years to catch up and now that I have finished all the updates I am very excited for the future. The mashiba fight is amazing I love it. When Ippo got in to spar. I got hard guys. This is the most exciting thing ive seen for ippo in the last like 6 years. Now I want more. Do you guys like the mashiba arc? Its probably going high on my list maybe top 3 honestly.

Still ongoing but I thought to post to get some perspective.
Me and a colleague were in PP for business, flights and hotels paid for. We stayed in a 3 star service hotel near the Russian market. Nothing fancy but rooms were big and clean.
I left after 2 days, but my colleague, a southeast asian mid20sf, stayed for 4 days more (still on business) - basically attending seminars, maybe out for dinner a couple times.
Never really needing USD since everything was paid for and most shops accepted card payment, on the last day, she went souvenir shopping and used her USD, only to be told that she was using fake dollars.
True enough, her crisp USD bills had ā€œCOPYā€ written on them and some Cambodian script and all her bills were the exact same. It was more than a thousand USD in 100s.
She is leaving in a couple of hours, and has already the embassy and the company that invited us involved for help. They are checking the CCTVs to see if it was any hotel staff. Police report also being done.
For sure, it was replaced in Cambodia since the fake money had Cambodian script. She always had her bag on her body except for a few times she had dinner out and left it at the hotel.
At this rate, she will be leaving without it, but is there any chance for recovery?

Thereā€™s been rumors for years that was going to reopen and then earlier this year the local news stations reported that it was finally going to reopen later this year and I remember months ago driving by and actually seeing contractors working on the facadeā€¦ well itā€™s already later this year and itā€™s crickets. And it seems like they abandoned their social media accounts.

Context : I was getting really close with this guy, we had been talking for two months, facetimed, hungout, walked around in school - Thanksgiving break comes and he got dry out of no where on Tuesday night. I wake up on Wednesday and he unadded me on snapchat, instagram, tiktok even FORTNITEā€¦ Iā€™m genuinely so confused and have thought of anything but nothing makes sense. And iā€™m almost 90% positive i didnā€™t do anything (meaning rude or weird that would turn him off).
Iā€™ve been so sad about this the past few days because he genuinely seemed to share the same feelings. And then just like that, unadded out of nowhere for no reason. I thought about texting him because I donā€™t think iā€™m blocked but I donā€™t even know what I would say. I donā€™t have any classes with him at school but I do see him in the morning after first period. Does anyone have any advice, should I let him go? should I text him? any reasons why he would randomly ghost? Pleaseā˜¹ļø

2024.11.30 06:23 JishFellOver Feel better but at a cost

Iā€™ve struggled with depression anxiety and ocd since I was 13. Iā€™m 19 now and had a really hard 6 years, including self harm and suicidal thoughts. But as of the past few months Iā€™ve found that the depression has gotten a lot better with the Zoloft 100mg and Wellbutrin. Like I feel almost functional now. Iā€™ve been able to start a small college after near my home after a year and been able to do other stuff that I couldnā€™t before. Yet on the other hand I feel less intelligent, more empty, more disassociated from both myself and the world. It almost feels like my life is a simulation. I lack substance now. I feel just so much less authentic. More complacent and like Iā€™m just alive, not living. Itā€™s honesty a really hard feeling to describe. I havenā€™t been able to really convey it to my psych. In the back of my head I wonder if this is just what it feels like to be better. I want to feel authentic again, I want to care again, I want to be able to be human, idk. I donā€™t know where Iā€™m at or what Iā€™m doing in a sense.
