Sorry if the content is too graphic. My bpd girlfriend gets angry really easily. I don't even know why she got mad at me this time. We were talking on the phone and I was tired because of my part time job and I think that pissed her off? She threatened to break up and said that she hates me. I asked what happened but she wouldn't tell me, just kept insulting me. When she gets this angry she will always hit me and make me cut myself in front of her. This happened already a few times. I know it's wrong and I'm being abused but I still love her. I keep thinking about the good moments when I felt loved and happiness and I endure it. Yesterday I couldn't take it anymore and I asked her to stop slapping me. She got even madder and left and blocked me everywhere. Even though I'm being abused I'm sad and don't know what to do. I wish she cared more about me. I just want to spend time with her without any drama. To be honest I'm not even sure what advice i am looking for. I don't have anyone to talk about this. I just wished we had a normal relationship.

I bought a 30oz stanley tumbler in plum from NEON montreal. Today i bought another 30oz to gift from a different store. They have differences in size and quality, is there a possibility that one is fake?
The baby pink has a wider bottom part and thicker rim, also doesnt have trash can logo on the bottom.
The plum one has issues with the screws, but they still sit flush with the handle. Both have handles that are very close to the rim. But the plum’s rim is thinner. The handles also have a gap between the cup and the plastic part (picture for reference). The R logo on it is also thicker compared to my 40oz frost and the baby pink 30 oz. Is it possibly just bad quality control? I also saw that stanley changed their cups slightly, is that true?

Hey all!
I'm 25 and have been an avid reader my entire life, and was usually reading ahead of my grade level. My little sister is 6 years old, and is apparently reading at about a grade level below according to my mom.
She likes to read, but mostly is still sticking with picture books for the time being. My mom wants to encourage this and does regular "reading time" with her, but they're sort of low-income and she can't regularly buy new books. As a result, my little sis is memorizing the books, rather than reading them. She knows all the words from the times my mom has read them to/with her, and can just parrot them back, rather than actually reading them. When my mom told me this, my first thought was, "Okay, sounds like some new books might make for good Christmas gifts."
I'd like to get her started on a fun book series of some sort that I can give her regular new additions to, especially around future holidays. The problem is that we're 19 years separated, and while I still read YA books at 25, I don't think 6 classifies as a "young adult" . . .that is, I don't suspect Six of Crows would make a great book for a 1st Grader.
I considered The Boxcar Children, since that was one of the first book series I got into as a kid, and they're apparently still being written. The problem is, I don't think these were picture books (although, it has been a long while since I read them, so I could be wrong), and I think it would be prudent to err on the side of a bit "too young" for her. Just because, well, if she is struggling, I don't want her to feel discouraged by grabbing stuff that she's going to struggle MORE with. I'd rather foster a love of books by getting her into a series she can latch onto naturally, where she wants to read it even without my mom's help because she cares that much about what's going on in the pages. If we find something like that, I'm sure it'll help develop the language-learning skills needed for her to keep enjoying reading on her own as she gets older.
Can anyone recommend any good "lower difficulty level" book series for little kids? I'm not against one-off books, but I tend to prefer a series, since there's more room for addiction to the world/characters and a driving urge to keep grabbing the next book and going back to the library over and over. Preferably, something still in the range of "picture books" - and also nothing horror or horror-adjacent (mom's rules, not mine - I'll get her horror in secret if she gets into it later in life...still not sure if my mom knows a teacher sneaked me Jekyll and Hyde in 6th Grade from the high school library).
Being that I'm not a parent myself and it's been a long time since I was in elementary school, I'm just really out of my element trying to gauge what books would be appropriate for her at this point. I was always reading above my level, and it's really difficult for me to conceptualize what level of difficulty would be appropriate for her because of that. I obviously don't wanna go, like, TOO young to where it's boring/there's ZERO mental stimulation or challenge, if that makes sense, but as said above, I also don't want to assume too much and make her feel, well, dumb...just because I jumped the gun and got something she's going to struggle too much with. I've seen way too many people have a potential love of reading crushed because they were pushed to read books they struggled too much with or were being held back and made to read books below the point of actual mental engagement for them.
Still, I REALLY would love to get her some books as a gift, since she apparently DOES like reading. Any help or advice or recommendations would be MASSIVELY appreciated!!!

So I (18M) went to a local clinic and got a my varicocele scanned and the doctor told me that i have stage 2 varicocele. I asked him to tell me what type of surgery can he provide me, is it microsurgery or embo. He just said Normal surgery (in our native language) by that im assuming it’s an open traditional Surgery. He also explained me that they are going to do the surgery next to my belly buttons cutting the veins which im circling in the image down above. As far as I’ve researched, I haven’t seen many people does this type of surgery. So should i go abroad for a better surgery? And am I facing risk if I get the surgery done this way ? I do have a some pain in my balls daily but it depends on the cicumstances and ( I live in a third world country with a not really advanced medical industry )
