At the end of our K-1 Visa Interview (India), the CO said that due to system / technical errors, the CO can't process the visa at the moment. They also added that once it is resolved, they would contact the beneficiary and the beneficiary is supposed to drop-off their passport and the paper the CO gave out at any given Dropbox facility. The paper says Visa Refused under 221(g) and that it is in Administrative Processing. CEAC Status has been 'Refused' ever since. There was no mention of visa being refused during the interview or after, besides what is written on the paper and CEAC Website. We are seeing from many posts that the timeline for AP is very uncertain. We saw from the official website that usually 221(g) is given when docs are missing or there is incorrect information, there is no such thing in our case. We have been waiting for two weeks for them to contact us. Does anyone know of a similar situation? Does anyone know when the AP is going to be over?
