Hola banda, es mi primer posteo en Reddit en general y quería comentarles mi situación. Llevo aproximadamente 2 años y medio como Programador y actualmente trabajo para un Banco. Estoy aprendiendo mucho y la neta hay buena oportunidad de crecimiento. El tema es que estamos trabajando en un proyecto nuevo y ya me tocó desvelarme tratando de sacar adelante un requerimiento, iba atrasado porque realmente dependía de otros microservicos (mi tarea era consumirlos con otro microservicio y generar una respuesta distinta mediante un DTO). Independientemente de la dificultad, colapse...Porque subieron un cambio casi a la hora de salida y la entrega era al día siguiente(del avance) y ese cambio involucraba yo mover todo de nuevo... Le marque a mi novia para que simplemente estuviera ahí mientras yo lloraba y me dio un bajon feo. Aun vienen más requerimientos y neta me preocupa mi salud mental... Ademas de que ahora estoy con un señor que es el mas machin pero es mamon del equipo de back y por eso me siento algo intimidado. Quisiera ver como ustedes salieron adelante de situaciones así y consejos para no llegar a ese punto. Se los agradecería mucho, gracias 🧡.

I’ve always dated/casually dated guys that are more nerdy and introverted like me, and it was normal for me to not text my long term boyfriend very much aside from scheduling dates.
I know a lot of people enjoy texting every day but I’m not that type of person, so it’s hard for me to tell if this guy I’ve been hanging out with for the past month or two is interested in me. We basically only text to schedule dates. We’ve seen each other every weekend for the past few weeks or so and we both are in school / working.
The main long term relationship I’ve had developed gradually over about a few months from casually dating and hooking up and then becoming official. I entered this casual relationship with this new person with no weird intentions of suddenly getting a boyfriend, but I do feel that I’m more interested in this person than I expected to be initially. It’s grown super gradually and only felt that I was developing a bit of a crush on him a couple weeks ago after we had more long, in-depth conversations. We usually go to concerts or movies etc and have a lot of similar interests, it’s not solely a physical relationship.
What are some ways for me to tell if he might like me a little bit too? Beyond basic stuff like him texting me “good morning” or something. I’m also pretty socially awkward and always worry that someone is being nice to me instead of actually liking me. Sometimes I can’t tell if someone really thinks I’m funny or smart etc or if they’re just being polite.

My wife basically killed all my writing time on Thursday, and I was only able to get part of an unfinished chapter for three keys while waiting on my boy to get off work. i need roughly 14k. Luckily I have some halves of chapters I can work on and try to get the word count down.

im struggling so goddamn much trying to accept all of this. how can the women i fell in love at the beginning be all for nothing.
how can they make you feel so loved and yet we still dont want things to end even through the emotional abuse we endure.
my exBPD hasnt stopped fighting and begging for us to fix things for the last 6+ months. i truly thought like all of us here that she was different and not like all the stories here. i thought by now she would have monkey-branched to the next supply.
she makes me feel so loved and hated at the same time, so torn between staying and trying to fix our relationship because she hasnt given up ever.

I read “The Mystery of Alice” by Lee Bacon and was instantly obsessed by the MCs word-focused narrative style. The main character creates her own words to fit things that happen in everyday life that English just doesn’t have adequate verbiage for. She constantly was incredibly aware of word choice and talked about it as well.
It is a children to middle grade book, but I’m open to all genres and age categories.
But I’m looking for something like that, as someone with autism and a special interest on language and words, it opened up a whole world of feeling seen.
Defining words, making up words, and aware of connotation and thus concentrating on their own usage and correcting themselves onto better terms? (I’m not explaining this as clearly as I wish)
I’m reading his other works currently and while they also have a similar feel, I’m wondering if there are more books by other authors that capture a similar thought process to my own.
