It’s finally going to hit freezing tonight here in Portland Oregon. It was a clear cold day but I dug out my Swan Island Dahlias. I kept all my seed dahlias I. The ground. Will be doing a little experiment to see if the seed dahlias survive. Some are rather sheltered by the house with a big overhang so hope they don’t get water logged. I’ve got them on the back porch which is enclosed until I can prep them for storage. They really multiplied!

2024.11.30 06:23 Bigheaded_1 Are any of the 90 day same as cash predatory loans actually good for the 90 day thing?
I have bad credit, so a regular loan's out of the question. I want to get my car fixed so I can go make money. Once I get it fixed I can easily pay back one of those loans before the 90 days is up and it turns into a predatory shit loan. But I've read a lot of things with people paying them off Progressive before the 90 days and still getting charged and the being told they still owe them money.
I'm assuming they can't all be shitty like that when you pay it off in the period they give you, but which don't try to screw you over? Repair shops around here have Progressive, Acima & Snap. Which other ones exist that are worth looking into? I'm looking to get $1500 and will have it paid back within 30 days.

Hallo Freunde,
Ich (m/22) bin schon immer bei der Sparkasse. Genauso wie der Rest der Familie.
Allerdings bin ich immer unzufriedener, Kontoführungsgebühren, unzählige werbe Anrufe, schlechtes online Banking, keine Zinsen etc.
So wie ich das hier mitbekommen habe hat die Sparkasse hier auch einen sehr schlechten Ruf.
Allerdings möchte ich auch in spätestens 10 Jahren ein Haus bauen, und dafür ist es doch wichtig eine gute Beziehung zu einer Hausbank zu haben, oder nicht?
So haben mir das meine Eltern zumindest immer eingetrichtert..
Würde ein Konto bei der C24 oder ING eröffnen.
Ist die Beziehung zur Hausbank für eine baufinanzierung wirklich so wichtig ?

I listed a small lot of one brand as an auction to liquidate some stuff I have accumulated from local sales and auctions that doesn't fit our booth theme, and I'm not personally interested in.
Buyer bid in the last minutes and paid and then immediately put in a cancelation request using "Found Better Price" as the reason and included the comment "Sorry good offer not quite what I want". I'm sure he found another lot he wanted instead.
Buyer only has 7 feedback, I wonder how may other people they have done this to.
Normally I do BIN listings. I honestly don't really care what they sell for, people collect this brand so I just get what I can for them instead of scrapping them.
Guess I get to relist and wait another 7 days and hope they sell.

Had this on my wishlist for quite a while after reading tons of reviews and given my love for extra celestials this made me override my budget and get it.
Luckily found a fraghead in the same city willing to let go of a partial. Pricey yes but the presentation and the acquaintance developed makes up for it imo.
Coming to the presentation top notch is what I'd say, maybe an overstatement for some but being my first entry into niche it did exceed my expectations. It comes wrapped in a nice pouch and a catalogue of their other fragrances.
Man is this what luxury feels like?
I'm bad at describing notes, but I'll try my best.
Seeing mineral notes in it, i thought it'll be a bit like Paco rabanne lucky but less sweet, boy oh boy this is like nothing I've smelt like. Haven't experienced anything similar to this dna yet.
It opens really like metal to me. Fresh metal mixed with hints of leather. Not the leather you smell while buying a new pair of formals but the smell you get while sniffing a pair of Palermo's or Gazzelle's. All while giving the constant essence of orange citrus. Fragranctica has saffron mentioned but I've never smelled good saffron yet, thus unable to relate. The thing is it's so well blended that you never smell the same note twice in one breath, olfactory fatigue sets in and it disappears leaving you longing for more.
It projects amazingly, i rode my bike for around 30 mins with just one spray on my hand, even after reaching home, people around me could smell it strongly. No other frag has given me the same projection. They all fade away quickly.
Lasts till eternity, around 12-15 hrs longevity on skin, haven't tried on clothes yet.
The scents too expensive for me to test it's sillage on a friend.
To explain it in one word - BRILLIANCE -
Will I be buying a full bottle, hell yes. Will I do it anytime soon? Hell no. It costs an arm and two legs, but will get it one day.
Should you get it? Try a decant first, some may not like the metallic alchemy. My work environment doesn't encourage sweet scents, luckily this stuff even though is nuclear, never gets cloying.
Clones? Bois imperial, Emir celestial and Rasasi brilliant silver afaik.
Quick question to the decanters or people already owning ganymede, is it possible to refill it by any means.

I previously had a problem with the water getting foggy over the past year or so but I upgraded the water filter pump size and haven’t had any problems in a few months. Now that winter is coming, I had 2 red tail sharks and 3 silver sharks that unfortunately passed away because I didn’t realize that my new water filter didn’t have the heat regulation option that my last one did. I have a 3 inch pelco and a 3 inch gourmi left. I have the water temperature regulator now. Do you have any recommendations for fish that will be compatible with the fish I have now? I love the Pelco that I have. I do miss my “sharks” but I think they needed a bigger tank anyway.

I am about to graduate university with no job. I recently learned about WITCH and I did some research into one of it, Cognizant. Pretty much all the reviews are bad and gave me PTSD after reading it. Reddit comments matches what Glassdoor says. But most of them are for the Indian location I suppose. Would the same things apply it to the U.S. branch (or North America branch)? Plus, many of the posts are not recent. So have they improved? I did applied to them and seems to have some progress in the application progress. Plus their recruiters are very nice after reaching out. Should I bail out and steer clear of them? I also read that Cognizant on the resume is a red flag. Is that really the case?

I sold because of my lack of belief in the cronos chain/network. I just don’t see Robinhood and other big exchanges picking up on this chain, because they view it as competition. I don’t see crypto.com being able to be the only supporter to make this coin reach its full potential. Being able to store it on a hardware wallet would be really good too, and I don’t see that kind of support happening either.
Maybe in a year or two I’ll look at this post and regret it, and for such a great community, I seriously hope I do. Caw caw, bye 🥲
