Hello everyone, my name is Frank - I am currently attending my senior year at a state university studying computer science. I was recently approached by a contact on my LinkedIn who owns a local bavenue/poolhall. She wants my help to introduce a set of relatively sophisticated (to me with no experience with the Wix platform) set of features for her already existing website hosted on Wix.
I, perhaps obviously, am inexperienced with freelance web dev, and would really like some advice!
Also - I know that this is learnprogramming, but I still hope that my query applies - since this is a learning oriented query ;P
The features she wants to implement are as follows: * A scheduling platform so that artists can book performance dates. The platform should also include the ability to sell tickets to said shows.
* A separate scheduling system for booking poker events, with the ability for players to reserve spots.
* A separate private party booking system that allows users to put in requests for a date that includes a custom catering menu.
* A separate system that allows for users to book lessons for pool and to be able to sign up for pool leagues, similarly to how the poker system will work.
My questions about this are: Given that Wix seems to have a healthy infrastructure for developing features like this (with ability to integrate third party vendors, manage custom backends, database utilization, as well as inclusion of dynamic website elements) - how long should I expect this to take to implement these features?
I also don't want to do this for free, so how much should I charge? And how should I choose to charge my services (per hour, or per feature)? I'm not sure what is typically expected.
Additionally, I have researched a bit about constructing a contract - and I've created a boilerplate on google docs which Ill link here. Is this a reasonable contract? Or are there aspects I am missing?

Im currently saving up to buy my first PS and GTA game on my own money and I find myself randomly hyping myself the standards of the game in the eagerness for the next trailer. I have to calm myself down so that I won't be disappointed if not all my imaginative gameplay features aren't in the game. It is an open world game where I live free as a criminal, see how that unfolds and can listen to real songs in it. I think that would be a fair expectation for a good game. How do you all calm yourself down?

Hi everyone. One month ago, I moved into a new apartment. The first time I saw the apartment, I noticed an old house smell and a certain heavyness in air when entering. I dismissed it, thinking it was because the apartment had been emty for a long time, and the landlord said the same. It’s an old building from the late 1800s. I still smell the old House smell and heavyness when i enter.
However, I’ve been experiencing some symptoms I’m not used to. I generally struggle a little with anxiety and find new things and moving stressful, so I haven’t been sure if I’m overthinking it.
The symptoms I’ve been experiencing include a cough on and off since I moved in a month ago, mucus in my throat, slightly red eyes, feeling very hot with frequent hot flashes all the time, shortness of breath when walking, and it feels hard to breathe. My feet are damp and clammy. I have severe restlessness in my legs, and my feet hurt. I’ve always had issues with foot pain in the summer but never in the winter. I’ve woken up at night with my eyes watering. I’m hoarse and have had some eczema patches on my hands. The eczma patches could maybe be due to the cold weather here. And also been thinking how much of these symptoms could be from overthinking and stress from moving. But it just feel like the same symptoms i get when I’m stressed Could this be a sign of poor indoor air quality, or am I overthinking things?

I had this Bengal tuberose attar oil from etsy that I was obsessed with, but the vendor doesn't make it anymore T_T
I hate scents that have too much of an alcohol/strong smell, if that makes sense, as I get nauseous very easily.
