I kind of just naturally learned how to touch type during the COVID pandemic when everyone had to type way more than usual. But I place my left hand on WASD, shift and space, not on ASDF, since I also play PC games. The original touch typing method involves placing you fingers on the home row and using your thumbs for space. But I cannot get used to it, mainly becuase I also use my index finger (right) for space and I find that it results in your fingers and thumbs being far too close together. I average about 85-95 WPM on Monkeytype using this method; I could probably get to 100 but I don't really see a need. I use the UK ISO layout.
Does anyone else do this?

2024.11.30 10:49 everafter99 My Anbernic doesn't work after not using it for a while
I haven't used my RG35XX for I'd say good 3 months. Now, I turned it on, noticed that the red light is on, so I plugged it in. The Anbernic logo shows up but it doesn't show anything after and its just black screen.
Tried pressing the "R" button on the side below the on/off button which is the Reset button, but it is the same.
What I tried: plugged it in til if charges to full battery, but still doesn't work.
Anyone has the same trouble? Appreciate your attention.

I’ve had wood lice in my conservatory for the past 2 years since I moved into the property.
I always find them dead usually on the floor against all 4 walls. I have sealed all the edge of the flooring. I have no idea where they are coming from as I can’t see gaps. Maybe 5 dead a week all sizes.
I had a local pest control out for another issue and I asked for he’s guidance but he wasn’t able to help.
There is wooden decking outside of the conservatory.
How can I resolve this issue, I live in south east England.

I'm remaking this post since it got removed, and I'll try to put all the necessary information.
Since i'm selling my PS4 I will need to buy a new controller for myself to play on my PC, and i saw that in a local tech store they were selling the Dualsense at 55€, which is just slightly above of my budget of 50€, instead of the regular 80€ that it cost, which seems like a good deal.
While i know that the controller doesn't have hall effect, as I play on PC I also use my keyboard, and I use the controller mostly for racing game, JRPG, souls-like/action game and fighting games.
Also I live in Italy, and the better controller with Hall effect/TMR, like the Vader 4 pro or the Cyclone 2 aren't available on Amazon, only on their official site, so I would have less warranty, 1 year instead of 2, and the return process wouldn't be as easy; the only controller with hall effect i see on amazon are some 8bitdo ones, which i read they have issues with their triggers, the x series from easysmx, which don't look bad but beside the x05, the other don't look great performance wise and the g7 from gamesir, which looks good, but being only wired would mean I can only use it on my PC and if I need to can't use it on my phone.
and I know that the dualsense require steam inputs, or DS4, for games on PC, but since I've used a dualshock up until now nothing much would change for me.

Some time ago I had a dream where I saw a sigil of some entity. In the dream I felt that it could be potentially evil and/or dangerous. In order not to forget what this sigil looks like, I drew an image of it in my phone (I don’t know how spirits get along with saved pictures in Telegram, hope they are okay with this). I keep a personal diary and want to transfer this sigil there, but I don’t know how to protect the contents from influence, and not summon someone by a stupid mistake.
What would you do in this situation? Can you advise me on how to do this? The initial ideas were as follows: 1. Express the sigil using mathematical formulas. Sine, cosine, all that stuff... The problem is that trigonometry is still on the list of magical disciplines that I haven’t mastered. I wanted to find a workaround by looking for a website that generates a formula from a drawing, but it turns out there aren't any. 2. Draw parts of the sigil on different pieces of paper, not connected together so the lines don't form a drawing, and then paste them on one page in the wrong order. Not sure about this method. 3.1 Draw a protective circle in the journal and draw the sigil in it. Problem is that I'm not sure what it is: a sigil/sign or something else. People discussed here some methods of "deactivating" sigil, but are there any ways to safely contain sigil? Maybe apply a salt and ink solution in a circle on a journal page and place the sigil there? 3.2 Same method as above + LBRP before. 4. Draw "disassembled" sigil and write the order for making a proper image of it. 5. Draw 1/4 of sigil, encrypt 1/4 in riddle, encrypt 1/4 in origami, encrypt 1/4 in Caesars cipher or something. 6. Just write down how to draw it.
So, the questions are: How to express an magickal image without drawing it? How many layers of paranoia would you use if you were me?

I was thinking smt like: Create a world/adventure for luanti where kids should explore a world resembling their city (or country for advanced kids) taken from osm and let them explore it. Every now and then some bots will ask them to solve orienting movements, history quizzes, math problems, etc...
Just adding ideas in the ai should create a corresponding world.
