Who was Jonathan? He was the heir of one of Seaworth City's most affluent families and the CEO of Lawson Group.
With company matters awaiting his decision, every second of his day was as precious as gold. Giselle usually had to schedule an appointment with him days before the date if she wanted to see him. And yet, there he was, casting everything aside during office hours to accompany someone to the hospital.
Funnily enough, she'd asked him that morning whether he had time in the afternoon, to which he'd said no. Now, it was clear that it wasn't that he hadn't had time. He just hadn't had time for her.
Giselle smiled self-deprecatingly, unable to hide the bitterness in her eyes.

2024.11.30 10:29 Scavgraphics Experience using External m.2 with Mini? Runs Hot?
I'm shopping for a mini. I'm thinking what will best for me is to go with the stock 512gb drive and using an external for main storage...a diy type either a 20GPS or 40GPS enclosure (thinking maybe 20 and then upgrading to a 40 if i find i want faster for main storage OR the 40's come down in price as TB5 becomes more used. I don't need a Tb5 enclosure.)
My QUESTION, especially for people who do this...is....how hot does the drive run? Most enclosures I've seen are just large heat sinks...but some do have fans built in (very few though). Is the Big heat sinks fine? Or for something that would be kind of constantly used like I'm thinking, would I want one with a fan built in?

Your mind should be able to pick up gossip the moment someone starts to share it with you and you need to excuse yourself.
Your mind needs to sense racism, xenophobia, satanism the moment it is introduced to you. When Joseph was with Potiphar’s wife, he had already trained his mind to avoid adultery and he knew what he would do should the occasion to sin against God in that way arises (Genesis 39:5-20).
Some people are never ready. Others can sense that things are going in the wrong direction right from the start but with an untrained mind you are always caught unexpectedly. Jesus taught the disciples that if a false prophet says Jesus is in the wilderness, the must not go with them (Matthew 24:26). If they say he is in an inside room, they must not go with them. The truth once the mind has been trained it functions in a more effective manner.
An untrained mind is always in the traps of the devil. Paul invites believes to renew their minds in (Romans 12:1-2). You have to lose the old relaxed mind and train your mind to see that you are falling into a temptation. Without training the mind the devil will lure you slowly but surely. We are told that he roams around like a lion looking for whom he might devour (1 Peter 5:8). I tell you the truth, he will devour the untrained mind.

My story to share: Fiance's mom and I were discussing work and finances came up. I shared my target annual spend for retirement, based on historical spend, which has increased recently and was very high in 2025 due to many one-time expenses (furniture, home repairs, etc), and I added that I thought this year's was very high. She shared that she thought it was a small amount. My take home pay was less just last year, and I shared that number with her. She got flustered, I guess not liking the reminder that there are people who struggle, then started judging my lifestyle and "fortune" with comments like: "well your lifestyle is cheap, like, I could never have a roommate" and "you got your car for free from your grandmother." I laughed and replied, "yup, I've been doing what it takes to reach my goal of retiring early, though not sure what my grandmother dying has to do with my lifestyle." To be clear, I inherited my first car, bought the next 3 with cash, inherited my gram's car, and bought her son a work truck with cash - she left that part out of course. Don't worry, my fiance is paying me back, and with interest.
Just to be clear, I don't share this with many people, nor do I rub my goals in people's faces. Her and I talk finances occasionally (nothing specific) so it wasn't surprising this came up. That being said, I will not be discussing them with her in the future! Hah

So I have a problem: I stay in the finish for too long. The drive goes well, but in the recover I start riding on the slides too early and bring my back up too late. If I focus on it it goes okay but does anyone have any tips to improve this?
