Unexplained cat death
My cat died unexplainably last November 7, 2024 morning. Upon dying, he has puked a white subtance. Out kitten ate the puke of my deceased cat and then died several hours later. I am so sad of what happened to the both of them since they both seem to be healthy the night before. What can be the cause? Is it rabies? (since I live in the Philippines)

I'm getting my first ever HT together! :D So, I'll pull the trigger for the AVR in the next few days. And I'd like your opinions about it.
I'm setting up a HT, in a relatively small room - about 25m2 (270ft2). However, movies are not the only duty of the AVR-s; the quality of the music is very important to me. Let's say I'll use it for 70/30 movies/music.
So far, I have bought Elac b5.3 for the fronts, and SVS SB 1000 pro will be a sub. Later, I plan to get the center speaker (probably Elac c5.3) and surrounds. I don't have room for another sub, but I may get upwards firing speakers one day. I will not use it past 5.1.2. in the future (due to space constraints)
The shortlist of the AVR-s I'm considering:
1. Marantz cinema 60 - 960€ Hands down has the best visual design (the rest are just boxes). Even my wife likes it. :D It has a 3-year warranty (1 year more then the rest), and from what I understand, it has the nicest musical capabilities (by a small margin) of the AVRs on the list.
2. Onkyo 7100 - 860€ I don't know much about the Onkyo, what drew me to it is price - with the included Dirac. How does it fair vs Denon/Sony/Marantz regarding sound quality? 2-year warranty. I'd say it's very similar to the next entry on my list (Denon 3800).
3. Denon 3800 - 850€ Overall nice capabilities, having more channels is nice, but I don't think I'll use them. The same parent company as Marantz, it should be excellent for movies, a bit behind on the music from it's sister company? 2-year warranty.
4. Denon 2800 - 550€ Similar to the big brother, it has fewer channels and a slightly weaker amp, but I don't see it having issues driving my setup (or the entire 5.1.2 in the future). How would it sound on my speakers on medium/high volume when listening to music from the rest AVR-s on the list?
5. Sony TA-AN 1000 - 830€ Another big contender on my list. It should have similar capabilities regarding the channel processing and power to the rest (naturally better than Denon 2800). I like its 360-degree reality audio, and its phantom speakers capabilities may come in handy until I get the surrounds. According to some YouTubers, it has a bit nicer sound for music than the Denon.
Those are my top 5 choices. What do you think? Which would you choose in my place? Thank you.
