Hello everyone!
My name is Alexander, I’m 20 years old and from Germany. Having a pen pal is a life long dream of mine and at the start of my law studies two years ago I managed to find an amazing friend on here. Sadly life gets in the way and he is short on time and energy right now. After a few months without writing I’ve come to realise I miss the exchange of detailed letters and thought I’d give posting on here myself a shot, instead of lurking every now and then.
I’m looking for a pen pal willing to write regularly at least once a month and who’s also looking for a deep connection with someone. My passion is art in many forms – I’d be glad to find someone also invested in the cultural side of things to write about the beautiful creations we encounter in life. I’m also very much interested in politics, and music. Literature is a very important part of my life and I would love to find someone who wants to read books together (a little two soul book club), though that’s not a priority. If you want to gather an idea of what I read, my Goodreads is the same as my Reddit username. First and foremost I just want to find someone interested in profound conversations.
I have no location preference whatsoever, feel free to message me no matter who you are if you found what I wrote to be appealing. I speak German, English und Polish (I also had French in school but it’s not good enough to write letters in it).

Lingering HFMD Symptoms 30m, no previous issues.
So recently our toddler came home with HFMD, I caught it a couple weeks after but no blisters only oral symptoms (same as kiddo).
Started with very painful tongue ulcers along the border and cheeks, first symptoms started appearing around 10-11 days ago and most have resolved.
However, about 4-5 days I to it I noticed these spots on the roof of my mouth that seem to not want to go.
I'll be honest, I still had a few spicy meals and such and although the pain seems to be going, it still hurts to touch and when drinking through a straw.
I check myself once a month and had no symptoms like this until HFMD started. A quick Google suggests this could have been herpangina?
I will schedule an appointment with the doctor for next week, but a the NHS website states all symptoms should be gone by now?
Don't smoke.
Like I said, I am trying not to freak out but just wondering what to expect.
