At age of 15,
I noticed my hair thinning on the right side of my head.
No big deal, right?
Well, social anxiety had other plans.
That tiny insecurity became the center of my universe.
I obsessed over it, convinced myself that everyone noticed it,
That social anxiety that i had developed at 15, created other problems in my life
Weight gain, delayed growth, loss of motivation, erectile fucking disfunction and a lot of other problems
The worst part?
None of it was really about my hair.
It was anxiety running the show, turning one problem into twenty.
Like a snowball rolling downhill, growing larger and more destructive the longer it keeps going.
A vicious cycle that is so hard to escape,
That destroyed my life to this day(even in my 20's)
What can you take away from this?
Well, if your social anxiety is being caused by some sort of insecurity
Try to fix it before it starts its snowballing effect and destroying your life even more

Anyways
Journaling, meditation and breath work helped me bring down my anxiety

Shell sort is a highly efficient sorting algorithm and is based on insertion sort algorithm. This algorithm avoids large shifts as in case of insertion sort, if the smaller value is to the far right and has to be moved to the far left. Shell short is an improved and efficient version of Insertion Sort rather while compared with other Sorting Techniques like Merge Sort , Bubble Sort and Selection Sort which we have already discussed earlier. In this algorithm we sort the pair of elements that are far apart by gap h. The process is repeated by reducing h until it becomes 1. This algorithm uses insertion sort on a widely spread elements, first to sort them and then sorts the less widely spaced elements.

Hi! I’m currently testing YouTube Premium with my private account (free trial). Now I wanted to sing up for another trial membership (1 month) - for a person who doesn’t live in my city with her mail account. The moment I log in on YouTube, the trial membership button disappears.
Is it because of the same IP address is there another way to sign up for the second trial membership?

2024.11.30 10:30 longiner Should auth protected routes be done in middleware.js? If so, won't it be duplicated since you need to auth your routes in your routes too?

If you verify the user has an authed cookie from middleware and redirect them if not authed, won't you need to auth them again when they hit your actual page? In your actual page you still need to decrypt the cookie all over again anyways.

Unexplained cat death
My cat died unexplainably last November 7, 2024 morning. Upon dying, he has puked a white subtance. Out kitten ate the puke of my deceased cat and then died several hours later. I am so sad of what happened to the both of them since they both seem to be healthy the night before. What can be the cause? Is it rabies? (since I live in the Philippines)

Nikhil & Jay - are whinny gits that have the run of the house that just get everything they want, even when they're making tons mess and noise
