hey all, i'm looking into writing a financial research paper as a small project to up my data analytics and financial skills. i'm not well versed with much of the tools required but i have opted for a "learn as you go" approach after having fallen victim to learning paralysis for too long for topic suggestions, i went to chat gpt and fed it certain parameters, and these are the suggestions i got:
macroeconomic indicators and their impact on stock markets create a predictive model fir stock trends with basic machine learning Behavioural finance - how online sentiment impacts the stock market Beginner portfolio analysis
my career revolves around quantitative finance, hence the focus on computer science. Are these topics any good? if not so, what are some good suggestiond? i want for this project to survey as a decent resume point, but also to enhance my skills in academic research, technical analysis, and general work ethic.

Hi, has anyone that has taken extended time off from their trade for chronic muscular back pain (say 4-6 weeks) ever gotten rid of it/reduced the pain?
I am thinking about taking sick leave to see if it works and wanted to consult others beforehand
More info: I'm 34M, slim build but go to the gym a few times a week for general fitness (nothing crazy, 15/20 mins of cardio and maybe 5 compound movement lifts) and 2.5 years ago I started working for a telecomms company installing/fixing the internet, about a year ago I got chronic back pain in my right side, it used to be only when I bent over and flared up when driving but now it is constant. The way my schedule works I get a max of 3 days off between shifts, between those scheduled days off and maybe a week/10 days max twice a year for holiday time off this is the only time I feel I have for my back to somewhat heal (it never went away after 10 days off) but as soon as I go back to work it comes back. I have had an MRI scan on it which looked fine so the doctor has told me it's muscular strain. I have tried ibuprofen, PT, yoga and pilates (which actually made it worse after one particular session) and nothing has worked

Should i buy the trial first and then activate the game pass core vouchers or the opposite? Back in 2020 i remember that i had a GPU trial, bought a gold subscription before it expired and to my surprise it turned to a GPU subscription so i am wondering if the same applies today. Tia!!

I have to design my 30sqm apartment and I was thinking to do the following:

I know the apartment is small, but I am considering this in order to make a feeling of separation between the "bed" area to the "kitchen" area.
Some objects are not moveable like the closet next to the office desk and the kitchen :).
What do you think? Does anyone have a better suggestion?

Intermediate photographer here! I own a 1960 analog, was recently gifted an Instax mini 9, and have some experience using DSLRs that belonged to others. I've been wanting to purchase an older digital camera but don't really know what model to go for since I haven't used one in about 7 years.
US + budget of around $100-120 (recs over budget are still very much appreciated because I will be looking for a high priced one in the future)
I mainly do landscape/nature photography, hoping to get more into street photography soon. looking for something with different shooting modes that can handle day/night, indoooutdoor use.
wanted but not needed - zoom capabilities and preview screen
any shape or size will do, I always carry around a messenger bag so I'm not worried about around having it fit in my pockets or anything.
