Where to begin?!? It started as a normal day,then me and parents went to a church to clean. Everything was good until we finished cleaning then suddenly a hand print was seen on my wrist and could see the finger marks on my wrist. After that day strange occourances happened at the church to me.
-was vacuuming and something threw a toy at me, no one was upstairs just myself.
- was upstairs again this time with my sister and suddenly i had sharp pain on my side, but after i left the area, the pain was gone.
-another occourance, I sat at the piano and started playing'happy birthday' as I was playing, I heard a knock on the wall upstairs, then i play again, this time the knock was closer. After that i ran out of that church

As the title says, i'm wondering what is the equivalent of "而已" in mandarin, which roughly translates in english as "only" or "nothing more". For instance, if I wanted to say in mandarin "this is just a supposition", i could say "這只是猜想而已". How could I say the same in Cantonese ?
I did some research online and apparently "咋" in Cantonese has the same meaning as 而已 in mandarin, but it seems like it would be more used in spoken language rather than written. Or maybe i'm wrong and it's fine to say "呢個系猜想咋" both in spoken and written context ?
Would be happy to hear any other alternatives and your opinions. Thanks !

Yes, another one of these posts, but in this case I am not a tourist. My family, who don't normally have access to a car, were planning on taking a trip this weekend but it fell through. We'd already hired a car and want to make good use of it, so we're looking for somewhere to go for the day. The main constraint here is that we will have a dog with us.
Normally, in this situation we tend to go up to Fife and walk around fishing villages and things like that. I'm a bit out of inspiration for how to make good use of the day. Ideally, I'd love to go somewhere scenic with a great place for lunch.
What do you all do when you have a free day and want to get out of the city?

Ok so I woke ip at like 6:40AM I remember checking myy phone, my bladder or maybe uterus I'm not sure but it was in my pelvic region. And like it hurt soo so kuch it was like a mic of sharp and blunt. And it hurt to move like I could kove but the pain would be so difficult to ignoee. I called my mother on my phone and she came to give me some pills amd then went back to sleep. Then I texted my friend (I did not expect her to be awake but I just wanted to talk to something) and I was liek "Girl my bladder hurt sso nuch" and I somehow managaed yo say "hurt so fuck much" anyway I was kike telling her what I was doing. I fell asleep on my back (wasn't even trying to sleep, I fell asleep with phone in hand) but woke up on my side. So I figured I should try find ways I could move without everything hurting too much. I eventually got onto my back and wrote to her, then I was going to try to sit up. I couldn't sit up without it hurting but I had myself prompted up on my elbows so I texted that to her. But then suddenly, the pain in my pelvic region like increased, it wasn'tlikes sharp up it just like happend. Amd when I tell you this shitshurt SO much, I started crying and called my mum again. I thought maybe I had to go to the bathroom because my bladder was too full and thats why it hurtO My mum came in and helped me stand up and I just kinda walked off the pain to the bathroom while saying thank u. I peed like half a cup, OH i have bladder problems by the way but I've never gotten anything diagnosed I haven't been able to empty properly for agss so. But while I was like standing and like sat up it felt so so hot like I was in an oven. I feltfdizzy too, I've only really felt like that shen I had a fever, but obviously I'd be cold? I think I associated that with a fever because my parents would smother me in blankets and I'd complain about it being hot. But afterwards I stumbled to my mums bed and just fell on it and eventuallyhafter laying down for some time I was able to move more easily and the pin turned to just a little discomfort. And now I woke up and feel pretty much fine.

I've had been working as a consultant for 6 years As Data Engineer support (ETL developer, Databricks, Azure, python) and data Analyst in last 4 Years (PowerBi certified,ETL, Data Warehouse, data pipelines, SQL server).
Worked for one big 4 and switched to another big 4.
On last 4 years in this big 4 things have been a rollercoaster of emotion. I'm extremely good in projects where data maturity is more than bronze and queries only require 200-300 hundred rows because there is a good data model.
I have been put on pure SQL projects with queries longer than 1500 rows to be tuned in machines that host 7 big databases with only 16 gb of ram. Data's quality is less than bronze.
I'm struggling even if I manage to fix things and I'm trying to get away to another company, as sometimes it is overwhelming for me to understand the domain or to understand why they wrote 1500 lines for a 2000 rows table.
I don't consider myself a rockstar neither a stupid data engineer, just a good person with skills in DE and DA.
I'm trying to hang up on consultancy as the anxiety to be 100% operative on projects with no domain explanation in 2 weeks is crushing me.
In interviews I struggle if they ask abstract questions (if a data model has a measure that is wrong what you do?)
But if I can visualize them I'm extremely good at finding a solution (theoretical and abstract logic questions are always causing me anxiety because I cannot visualize them).
When I talk with friends or ex colleagues they are "wow, you work with stuff I would never know, you know more than me" . But when I apply is becoming more hard because they ask me questions on something and I don't know because I've never worked with it and the level is hard because Im considered a senior role.
Interviews are always tough but when I pass them the job is 3 level above the interview standard.
Has someone of you had this problems and did you fix it? Do I really need to learn how to crack the interviews ?
