Tonight I almost got punched in the face by a 50 year old man because I told him to get the fuck out of our kitchen (I’m a 25 F). My last guests also decided to turn our beer taps on (6 out of 16) as a joke upon leaving which resulted in almost an hour of clean up as I had the draught plugs in and it rained not only all over the bar and the shelves beneath our tower, but also on the back bar which soaked our POS station, debit, chit and receipt machine, UbeSkip tablets and all other wiring which is fundamental to running the entire building. It took a village and almost an hour to clean up the damage, and a call to our POS software to troubleshoot the system so we could close all sales properly (and be able to open the next day).
For some more context, I was in the kitchen when this happened bringing back dishes/clearing plates. I chased after them after coming out and realizing the situation/closing the taps (I was only back there for less than a minute) but they were all gone. To go even further, I called their reservation number and told the man that whoever decided to do that or take part in that was no longer welcome back here and how they were the scum of the earth….etc. i went hard. I wish I went harder. All in the midst of drying the entire baback bar.
$540 (after tip-out) later, I would easily trade half if not all of that money so I could have more faith in humanity. Hope y’all had a better night.

2024.11.30 10:30 sunsetRedder Clipchamp stuck buffering
After splitting a video and deleting the resulting gap, trying to view the previous chunk of video leaves the editor "buffering." Tried deleting clip champ and reinstalling, tried browsers, cleared my cache and even deleted old projects: this buffering bug still persists.
The only "fix" is exporting the whole video (480p because its fastest) and just going back to editing without saving the export. I guess this refreshes the clips in the editor and lets me watch them again but this fix is short lived. Sometimes the clips do not refresh and the buffering bug comes back.
Anyone else facing this? Seems like an issue with the current version of Clipchamp and how it loads/refreshes clips after splitting.
Side note: if I delete all the clips and add the complete imported video back in to the timeline, the whole entire video is buffered. It's only when you split the video that you get the bug.

I thought turning 25 would put me in the safe zone, for to them, all the eggs in my ovaries have already expired by now, but noo. Every other month my mom comes up to me with a big smile on her face saying "someone wants to ask for your hand in marriage" after she tells me that, I always have trouble sleeping at night thanks to anxiety-fueled nightmares. Marriage with a muslim guy is something akin to a death sentence to me. The words I hear my mom uttering are "you will be hanged tomorrow" I hate this shit. What should I do to repel elderly Muslim women from picking me for their sons? I'm not even that young or strikingly attractive. I wear a loose hijab and make up when I leave the house. I have a "dark past" and even a darker present, meaning I'm not that pure. I have a tattoo and I'm not friendly or popular in the community either so why on earth I keep getting bothered ?????! Go marry some younger girl who would be perfectly innocent and obedient. Why bother me? I really want to know what I'm doing wrong. I have plans but can't be fully independent right now because of money issues. What should I?

It’s funny how learning to ride a scooter turned into complete chaos once Bhide discovered something was amiss. However, I can’t understand why they even decided to learn in the first place, given that they weren’t of legal age. Sure, in real life, people sometimes take such risks, but isn’t Gokuldham Society supposed to represent the epitome of ideal behavior?
They started learning because Champaklal couldn’t visit his friend’s house due to the strike. But even if they knew how to ride, how would they have taken Champaklal there when they were under 18? The whole situation feels reckless. They risked so much and caused unnecessary drama when they could have simply waited until they were legally allowed to ride.
Also, their plan to surprise their families by showing off their scooter-riding skills raises another issue. What if their families asked, “When did you learn this?” Wouldn’t that have led to Bagha losing his job? And wouldn’t Bhide punish Tapu Sena for using his scooter without permission, especially since they had a duplicate key? Honestly, this whole arc does not make much sense.

Yesterday I bought a G4 iMac M6498 with 512MBytes of RAM and a 75GByte disc, with 10.2 and also OS9 installed, quite pleased with it. It's the 17" version. It cost me £26 in the UK, which is about $33 in the U.S.
I'm fairly new to macs, I've got a few older machines but so far have converted them to Linux usually as MacOS on older machines can't do what I want. I'd quite like to keep this machine on MacOS though.
I'd like to try using it as a virtual machine terminal using virtviewer (a SPICE client -- all my VMs work best via SPICE) but when messing around with some old Intel macs I found it wasn't available for them pre-compiled in homebrew, compiling them fell when some library needed a newer version of xcode than was available. So has anyone with more experience got virtviewer running on these even older machines?

 | I was wondering if anyone else has similar experiences when taking lisdex. From time to time I get these bumps under my skin, especially on my right pecs and right arm, altough the exact places vary. When touching them they are hard, like rock. After a short massage they are gone. They definitely feel like some sort of vasospasms, but I think they could be from arteries, since I see no superficial veins at the places where they occur. I have an example of a rather small one on my right arm, before and after a quick massage. Do you know if this is something to be concerned about or not.
