I (38M) have been renting out my second room to my roommate (35F) for about 4 months now. For the most part, she's been a great roommate. Pays rent on time, cleans up after herself in the kitchen and common areas, and even helps clean the bathroom every once in a while without being asked.
The problem is that she is a heavy drinker, and as some of you might be familiar with, alcoholics can have a very distinct body odor especially if they don't regularly bathe or wash their clothes/bedsheets and stuff. I've lived with alcoholics before and it's this very pungent garlicky-smelling b.o. that I had to put up with for years until I got my own place. I really am not thrilled with having to deal with it again.
The past few weeks it's gotten to the point where I can smell it from everywhere in the apartment, and I'm tired of having to open all the doors/windows to air the place out and spray febreze every time she leaves her room to use the kitchen/bathroom and goes back to her room, crop-dusting the smell as she goes.
I don't want to hurt her feelings, but she has a habit of deflecting/avoiding responsibility when called out on behavioral stuff like this, so I'm wondering if anyone can provide advice on how to talk to her about this politely yet firmly so I can get the point across that I don't want to deal with the smell anymore. I’ve recently gotten interested in buying physical copies again because of the idea of long term ownership, but is that even possible? For example I know that on a lot of games (at least from Xbox), the disk doesn’t even hold most of the game data, it’s just another license allowing you to play.
That was just one example, I know that switch cartridges are much more complete than what I just mentioned, but asides from that, will I even be able to play my games on a switch like 20 years from now? Or if the switch goes down will the cartridges still have the game data on them?

I played like 3 playthroughs on console and they were fun but an original PS4 doesn't run or look the best anymore so I made the upgrade to pc, since then I've obviously taken advantage of the opportunity to get QOL and graphics mods for the game. Here's my problem though,
Console: Die, "-$4.57", Lose $4.57, No Problem. Pc: Die, "-$4.57", Lose Half of Money, Big Problem.
I think it's mods because this never happened on console and for a while after installing Lml and some mods every NPC attacked me or instantly became a witness for no reason, I found out there were some extra settings in lmm that I didn't turn on and wasn't aware of that cause it.
This becomes a real problem late game when you have lots of money and losing a couple grand on death isn't exactly a good way to use money.
Anyone know if it's a mod or a feature I just don't remember?
