2024.11.30 12:50 Frosty_Name_6494 New player - Is the ranked ladder supposed to be like this?
Hi everyone, it's my first time posting here. I started playing 10 days ago, and I know it's a very low amount of games. But coming from years of other MOBA (LoL), I noticed that, going ranked, everything was easy as f*ck and won 35 games in a row, being MVP 95% of the time. Once gotten to Ultra Rank, I started encountering out of a sudden my first losses, with people actually knowing how to play and giving a challenge. Is the ladder grind supposed to be like this, with a change so sudden in skill level? Or did I fuck up my MMR level, similar to what can happen in other MOBAs?
Also, any advice for a noob about the game is accepted, thanks ^

I met a friend for lunch and she's an anxious flyer too and she said that she follows this YouTuber who looks into a lot of air disasters and we talked about the PIA aircraft that crashed into residential buildings before landing.
She said that most of the videos she's seen has had human error as a contributing factor to the disaster. She said a lot of pilots in pakistan have fake / fabricated flying licences and she's confident it's the same with India too.
I'm typing this from the flight and I cannot tell you jow strongly this freaks me out because it's actually a massive fear. The one time a pilot let his nephew or smth take charge and that crashed in a mountain. The time an air india pilot was asked to try landing in a different location because Kerala had bad monsoons and his stubbornness cost so many lives. It's ridiculous....

I’ve been preparing for Daytona next weekend with an 89% chance of rain. I’m coming off a 3 week hiatus so I knew I’d have to knock some dust off but I am really struggling to set any kind of lap in these conditions. It’s feels like a miracle to get around the track without spinning. No confidence on the brakes, I have no idea how to get the throttle down on corner exit and it’s so overwhelming that I can’t understand what the car is communicating to me, I can’t feel the limit. I’m supposed to do the race with a friend but I’m thinking I should try to help him find a replacement. I have some time this weekend to try to iron some things out but I’m so far off, confidence is really low. Anybody have any big tips that helped them in wet conditions?
