I am pregnant and looking for a name for my baby girl. My partner is German with Polish background. I am Persian and we live in USA. So first, we need a name that sounds good here in usa. But also easy to say it in Persian. Bonus point if it also has some German or Polish flavor. Extra point if it is not the very popular name like Lily, rose.
Alternatively, a name and a middle name with one being popular and one being unique name is good too.

Hello,
I am in the process of planning a trip to Peru. I have the first two weeks mostly sorted out however I am at a complete loss for the third week.
Day 1 Arrive in Lima, overnight Lima (just crash at hotel and sleep)
Day 2 Fly from Cusco to Lima, relax and adjust to altitude
Day 3 Guided Sacred Valley Tour
Day 4 - 7 Guided Inca trail trek
Day 8 Free day Cusco
Day 9 Free day Cusco
Day 10 Guided rainbow mountain tour
Day 11 - 14 Fly to Puerto Maldonado. Stay at ecolodge in the Amazon (Is this too long? Was staying longer due to my interest in bird photography)
From here I have about one week (days 15 - 20) to go anywhere. The ideas I have for this week are:
- Spending an extra night in the Amazon, then going back to Lima and visiting Huacachina. But this is only one night so I'm not sure how to fill the rest of the week.
- The Galapagos. But from what I've read, one week in the Galapagos is not enough time.
- Easter Island. Since I'm not sure when the next time I'll be able to go to South America will be, as this is a bucket list item for me. But it's a very long flight.
- Somewhere in Bolivia?

Can’t find anything about this on their website unfortunately, the most I can find is their site on electives and clinical attachments in NHS partner hospitals (https://www.imperial.ac.uk/medicine/study/undergraduate/electives-and-clinical-attachments/). This PDF (https://www.imperial.ac.uk/media/imperial-college/administration-and-support-services/registry/placements/public/2024-25-Placements-Abroad-Handbook-(Imperial-College-London).pdf) also says that undergraduate medicine students “may be eligible on an exceptional basis to undertake a placement abroad at another location”, which gives me the impression that it might be a bit of a hassle to organize an overseas placement. Does anyone know if any Imperial med students have had success organizing an overseas elective, and if so, how they did it? I’m especially interested in undertaking a placement in the US and would be grateful for any advice/information regarding this. Thanks in advance for any help!

J'ai une assurance-vie rattachée à un compte dans une banque et je voudrais changer de banque.
Je me pose la question de demander le rachat total de cette assurance-vie car mon ancienne banque cherche à complexifier le transfert de l'assurance-vie vers la nouvelle banque autant que possible (et je n'ai malheureusement pas trop le temps de m'occuper de ça pendant des heures), et d'utiliser l'argent présent actuellement sur l'assurance-vie pour investir via un PEA chez ma nouvelle banque d'une part, et me constituer une épargne de précaution dans un livret A.
L'assurance-vie étant assez ancienne, je me demandais aussi si la perte des avantages d'antériorité était vraiment gênante dans cette situation.
Ma question est donc : est-il intéressant de faire le rachat et si oui, quelle est la démarche à suivre pour effectuer un rachat total d'une assurance-vie ?

Since i discovered the concept of Solarpunk i fell in love with it, envisioning a green future instead of the depressing cyberpunk themes gives me a sense of direction to the possibility of a better future for humanity. And coming from a place where i got to grow with constant contact with nature, makes me fery fond of Solarpunk.
Anyways, currently I'm not living in the countryside anymore, instead i came to a high density population and urbanization metropolitan area for the sake of completing my university studies.
I just found this sub, and I wanted to learn from you on what are the ways to promote Solarpunk, to live in a lifestyle that aligns better with it, and how does someone start on Solarpunk, what kind of projects can someone start with. I'm a CS and Science and technology student (this includes but not limited to natural sciences and math)
I'm aware of the resources listed in this sub about section, but honestly i found it pretty overwhelming, but i will definitely explore. Since i haven't really found a comprehensive section of resources for beginners i think this can be very helpful for people in my situation as well. With enough answers i can compile and create a post around it.
