We're building a garden studio (glorified shed really) to serve as a home office/gym. It goes across the length of our garden. There's going to be a small window that faces towards the back of our house. Window is on the ground floor basically at eye level. It's under permitted development, so no planning permission required.
Neighbour has knocked saying that the window will encroach his privacy as we could see into his bedroom window from it. I mean technically you could if you stood right up by the window and looked out and up. But it's a good 50m away from the back of our houses. The larger window is going to be on the backside facing away from all the houses and that's the direction we'll face the office, so we're not even going to look towards his house. Also, we can currently see into his window just standing in our garden? Does he have any grounds here or is he just being grumpy?

Hi, I'm in my first year on my Formula Student EV team, and I've been tasked with selecting a water pump for our cooling system. We're running a 4WD AMK kit with DD5 Motors, which is cooled using two separate circuits (each handling two motors and half of the inverter).

 | Last night, my bf and I got into an argument that seemed to be brewing for a while. He is not usually a very confrontational person, but he had a couple of drinks and that’s normally when all of his “grievances” with me as a person or with our relationship come out. It would’ve just been a normal, grown up conversation if he wouldn’t have done the thing he does where he shuts down and mumbles under his breath and in turn I get frustrated. At one point he mumbled something and I asked him to clarify and he said that “the way you portray yourself online says a lot.” He then referenced this post as well as a selfie that I’d posted earlier, and explained that he was upset because I didn’t post a selfie we took together, as well as that this stupid picture I shared on my story makes me look like I’m alone at the bar. For reference, we’ve only been dating like a month and a half, although we were hanging out almost every day and practically dating for like 3 months before making it official. Then, this conversation somehow took a turn to him saying he thinks I’m gay and I just don’t know it, and that I’m just not attracted to him. I reminded him that yes, I am bisexual, but that doesn’t take away from my feelings for him. I also reminded him that I am the much (much) more physically affectionate one in our relationship, to the point that I often try to tone it down because I don’t want to make him uncomfortable. The more I’m typing this the more I think it’s dumb, but I’m trying to figure out if something like an accusation for being gay and unattracted to my partner is something I can just move on from. Hi po, mag-ask po sana ako ng advice on how to price your work. I do editing for fun, sometimes to help other people but mostly for church purposes only (promotional/solicitation videos, banners etc). May nag approach po sa akin na member inaalok ako ng sideline to edit a cover and basically a whole book for his job (sa isang ESL school sya nagwowork and parang student's book ung gagawin). I don't know much about the details since mag-uusap palang kami tomorrow pero ang sabi niya parang iaayos ko lang into a book ung ginawa nya. May similar exp po ba kayo nito? New phones don't come with charger because they says we already have one or we can buy it separately, but why they send a type c cable? Which is more common than a charger? I have around 5-6 cables in my house, and old chargers came with cables. I get mad when i see these useless cables....why they do this?

For reference. My freind is a liberal, or he considers himself as one. I'm a learning socialist (I have been reading theory for half a year, and as of right now Im pretty sure I fit into the category of being libraterian socialist...)... I made the mistake of jumping head first into reading books that I barely understood (Marx, Engels, Rosa Luxemburg...) due to the fact that my English is very poor...I'm Macedonian and I olny found out that the Marxists.org has a page decided to literature translated into Macedonian about a month ago.. I don't want my freind to make the same mistake I did...So yeah... I need some easyer books for understanding socialism and it's failures/successes to recommend to this freind of mine... :)
