We’ve been together for almost 6mo and everything has been great, except they are a lot busier than me and i feel like i have to fight a bit for time with them. we typically hangout friday evenings into saturday mornings, this has been the routine for months, and as well as a day during the week. a few weeks ago they started climbing with their friends on the weekend. last weekend some of my plans fell through so i ended up joining their friend group.
this friday i was driving over to their house to start hanging out and they called while i was on the way over. while chatting they informed me that ‘they would be climbing @ 10 tomorrow morning’ and i could come if i would like. i was a little surprised because i thought we were going to hangout in the morning. we’ve been having lazy mornings where we have breakfast together and i assumed since they were staying over friday we would at least spend the morning together, especially since they had another commitment in the evening.
we’ve previously confirmed that friday eve/ saturday morning is ‘our time’ and if we were going to change something that advance notice would be nice.
when i brought this up they were defensive, saying that i didn’t book something in so why should they miss out on doing something fun and that why don’t i just come climbing with them. i would come climbing just i’d prefer to hear when they planned it, not last minute. i also said it’s rude to say ‘im going climbing instead of asking if i would like to come or if it’s something i’d like to do with them. when i explained this they were surprisingly dismissive of my feelings. am i crazy for feeling slighted? i’m trying to communicate my feelings but it feels like they don’t want to hear it, are we just in different stages of life? i’ve had several long term partners and they have only a single 2-year relationship.
it’s a really big turn off feeling like someone doesn’t respect my time. i don’t plan to do things saturday morning because i know they will be at my house, and if i did plan something i’d run it by them before committing to it. has anyone else experienced this? i have some attachment issues so im curious if i am over reacting or if this is a normal expectation?

I developed such a big fear about I could become depressed. I had OCD for such a long time and while it had impact on stuff (couldn't finish uni which I don't regret) I still was happy - always! Now as I started treatment 8, 9 months ago and I read about a lot of stuff online (should not have done it) I fear of getting a depression. Whenever I feel like just a little bit down or tired, I immediately check if I am or was happy. I get intrusive thoughts like "I am unhappy", "I am a loser" or "I feel lonely". All of these three things I never cared about before and I neutralize these thoughts by saying the opposite (I know I shouldn't). I can't stop it because I have so much fear I either will get depressed when I sit with these thoughts or that I eventually can make myself believe these thoughts. I imagine all the most horrible consequences that my brain says will occur if I ever will get depressed.
Any advice for this? It would be greatly appreciated since my therapist is not very good with OCD. We never really did ERP stuff at all: no writing all the thoughts, no hierarchy, no exposure techniques other than "just repeat the thoughts over and over again verbally". Instead he wanted me to calculate possibilities of how likely these outcomes actually are. As I understand this is counterproductive for OCD usually because it is reassuring.

So I've been 2 years on T, everything is going great, except for 1 problem. My skull shape is extremely feminine. I started T at 25 and at that time your skull bones are all fused mostly. So now my skull is forever left with a female silhouette. It becomes way worse when i have to wear a pee cap or a beanie as it makes the shape prominent. When my hair are a bit long, it's fine. But whenever i get a haircut, my face shape becomes like a lesbian with facial hair. I'm really tired of this, as I'm also balding at the same time, and can't go full bald otherwise I'd look like this. Is there any solution for this? With time on T will my skull become a bit masculine? Or am i just doomed forever

2024.11.30 12:49 RafKen593 Stolitz continues to be the worst part of Helluva Boss (spoilers for "Mastermind")
So. I do not like the Blitz/Stolas ship. It feels really forced. In early-mid Season 1, it does seem to just b a FWB thing where the "friends" thing barely exists. Blitz just fucks Stolas once a month in exchange for the Grimoire that allows him to access Earth. That's excluding how Blitz was more or less coerced into accepting their deal, given how his whole business relied on it and he was in the middle of a gunfight with a satanic cannibal milf and just wanted Stolas to shut the fuck up. Similarly, Stolas is a perverted creep towards Blitzo in the first few episodes. And then in "Ozzie's", it suddenly changes into them having actual feelings for eachother? Stolas loves the idea of Blitz taking him out on a date, and Blitz is angry that Stolas didn't defend him and their... whatever-the-fuck-it-is in front of Asmodeus and a whole room full of demons. This whole romance thing really comes out of nowhere after a whole season where Stolas is just a creep towards Blitz.
Season 2 makes it both better and worse. For the better, we at least learn why those romantic feelings grew. Blitz has attachment issues, he's dated a lot of people before dumping them cause he's afraid that anyone who ever loves him will get hurt after childhood trauma. So with those attachment issues, it makes sense that he grows feelings for Stolas, who does give him attention (however creepy) and outright saves his life from the Dhorks. Meanwhile, Stolas was a closeted gay stuck in an abusive marriage wishing for a true romance with another man, more or less thinking like he was in a soap opera, so of course he'd fall for the first guy that fucks him. The feelings still appear from nowhere with little to no development, and I have no idea what the hell these two see in the other besides "he's there for me" (and they're barely there for eachother besides sex), but at least it's something.
But, there's a lot of bad things about it. First off, why did they have to be childhood friends from long ago? Even ignoring the timeline issues (Stolas is a 30-something thanks to this new reveal, and the Ars Goetia is from the 17th century. Did it prophesize the future birth of a Goetia demon? Is Stolas just the latest in a long line of Stolases? Is he just not part of the original set of Goetia demons in Vivziecanon?), it's unneeded. They were good enough as two morally-bankrupt fuckbuddies who develop into something more. The fact Blitzo was a poor kid sold out to a rich family also feels like one of those shitty 2000s [Someone] X Reader stories you'd find on Wattpad. It's overall a useless plot point that adds nothing to their relationship beyond Vivzie wanting a childhood friend romance.
Also, you can't avoid this argument, but yea Stolitz ultimately hurts characters. Stolas goes from a morally gray, likable asshole to a sad boy who's been wronged all his life. Stella had the potential to be a more developed villain with good reasoning for what she's doing, but so far she's just a one-dimensional Bitch Wife who was awful to Stolas so he is justified in cheating (I hope this will change as we will learn Stella's backstory apparently). I like Blitz having bigger depth to him beyond Asshole Killer Imp but I dislike how starting with "Full Moon" his whole character is just him coping with his issues and love for Stolas, I want more of the Season 1/early Season 2 jackass assassin.
And of course, the big one, "The Full Moon" and "Apology Tour" where everyone's favorite situationship turns to shit. Stolas realises he's fucked up and their relationship is unfair (which I like), so instead he gives Blitz a crystal he got from Asmodeus that gives him legal permission to go to Earth, which also means he no longer has to fuck Stolas to keep his business afloat, and now they can continue their relationship on normal terms no coercion. Blitz has attachment issues and thinks this is some roleplay setup to the next sex session, so a heartbroken Stolas leaves and, after an argument, throws him out the house. In the next episode, Blitz finds out he's fucked over so many people that Verosika hosts yearly "Fuck Blitz" parties to help demons move on by spending time with people who care, and Stolas got invited. Blitz sneaks in, has an emotional talk with Stolas and is convinced by Verosika to let Stolas move on.
And the issue is simple: All the blame is thrown onto Blitz. Stolas is the one who came up with their Full Moon deal and more or less coerced Blitz into it, he's the one who was being a perverted creep towards him, and yet when their breakup happens, it's all Blitz's fault for being an insensitive asshole who breaks people's hearts. Stolas is portrayed as not equally bad, but as the victim. And while I had issues with it... I could let it go. I was convinced that there will be episodes that show Stolas is just as guilty as Blitz, Blitz was just called out first.
And when "Ghostfuckers" came out, I was convinced the show is going to a better direction. Blitz was an annoying horndog throughout the first half of the episode, but as soon as Rolando showed up it got better; hell, it became one of my favorite episodes. Millie finally gets to shine, we get some cool scenes with Blitz, we get to see how the two met and why Millie puts up with Blitz's shit, and after Striker became the butt of the joke in "Western Energy" (to clarify, while I know Striker was already funny in S1, he wasn't the victim of cringey jokes like "he has a statue of himself with a MASSIVE COCK" that completely detract from his seriousness), it was nice to see Rolando be an actual, dead serious villain for howevert short his screentime was. And hell, Blitzo admitted he and Stolas never had a relationship in the first place and seemed to genuinely attempt to move on from him, so even Stolitz might be going to a better direction!
Then "Mastermind" came out and showed that "Ghostfuckers" was a great episode because Stolitz wasn't in it. To clarify, I like the episode. It's not perfect - Leviathan has a dogshit design that rivals Beelzebub in not representing her sin at all - but it was enjoyable. I specifically loved Satan and Andrealphus here. Satan was an absolute menace with just the right amount of comedy, while Andrealphus perfectly balances the line between "hilarious as hell" and "I want to beat the shit out of him". Far better villains than Stella, Mammon or... just about anyone besides maybe Rolando because god damn that dude left an impression on me.
And just like Ghostfuckers is good because it lacks Stolitz, Mastermind turns bad when Stolitz gets involved.
So when Andrea frames Blitz for raping Stolas, stealing the Grimoire and hiring Striker to assassinate Stolas, Satan decides to broadcast his execution to put impkind in its place, causing Stolas to see it on TV and intervene. In a musical number, he frames himself as the Mastermind who was pulling the strings behind Blitz To clarify, this is not bad by itself; Stolas is pissed at Blitz but not enough to want him dead, and it's finally him getting some punishment. But Stolas does not confess to coercing Blitz into an unhealthy relationship, but frames himself as some evil genius.
More issues come with the second half of Stolas' song, where he and Blitz have this duet where they love eachother, one can't live without the other to the point Stolas prefers being dead than being without Blitzo. What? This would be good if they actually had any chemistry or reasons to love eachother, but we don't. We get that Blitz and Stolas both have relationship issues and are immature, but really why do they love the other besides them just being there? They have no chemistry in the slightest, we're never told what one sees in the other, and they JUST had a semi-breakup where they try to move on from each other. And like, we all know they would inevitably make up cause they're endgame, but... so quickly? They had zero conversations between eachother since "Apology Tour", we don't even know what Stolas was doing since that episode (and we've last seen him making out with another guy), but here he is ready to sacrifice his life because he loves Blitz so much he can't live without him. Do you even know him as a person? Cause I can't remember a single conversation they had outside the "Blitz being Stolas' fuckbuddy/bodyguard that one time" thing.
And Satan buys Stolas' claims, and strips him of all his power for a hundred years, all his shit going to Andrealphus while Stella gets custody of their daughter Octavia. Blitz agrees to let Stolas live in his home, puts him to sleep, kisses him on the cheek, end of episode.
And I already know Stolas will never get his "gets called out" moment because the story has definitively decided he's not to blame for anything that happened. That musical number is the closest we'll get and Stolas doesn't even admit to what he's actually done. He's just the sad, tragic victim who constantly suffers, his wife took the kid in the divorce, but at least he has his boyfriend who he loves for Vivzie forgot to fill out this part of the plot.
Vox cums to the thought of Alastor being murdered, and they genuinely have better chemistry.
