I was hoping someone could help me, I am new to flask. I am trying to implement a webrtc stream for a one way CCTV/rtsp monitoring system. I chose flask because I am using computer vision for security and also training and/or deploying AI models was the goal for this project. I just can’t find a project anywhere or get any type of AI to help me properly configure it all to work for one way, server to client streaming. I am also a newb to programming, just a hobbyist. Right now my repo is private because I have personal info in some of my code that could cause vulnerabilities, that I do not want to share. But I was wondering if anybody out there has a public repo that was good for one way WebRTC streaming and that actually functions. I’m not trying to video and voice chat, just view a security camera’s stream. I had it working with HTTP but it was absolutely horrible frame quality. It was like slow motion and you had to refresh the page. So I want to try WebRTC so freaking bad lol. I guess I could ditch flask for something else but I know Python the most and a little bit of node on the side… Help!

The idea is for these changes to be temporary until something more polished can be developed about the situation:
- Alpha Pals to be reduced to the same size as normal Pals, alternatively, reduce only their collision check if it's not the same entity as the model itself.
- Give Pals 0 collision/full noclip for 1 second after being summoned.
- The idea is to give pals just enough time to unstuck themselves when summoned
- Add a setting (or hotkey) to pick which of the Pal summons to be executed: Current (spawn by player) or previous (spawn at the crosshair)
- This would imply that the long range summon is no longer affected by ballistic arc and would have a max range so that if we don't target a solid object, the summon won't be all the way to the World Tree
2024.11.30 16:40 100Kinthebank Bluetooth sucked over Thanksgiving - should I get the 2nd gen with Wifi booster or just the wifi display?
Have two of the first generation Combustion probes. I like the multi-sensor probes and the thinness of the device. Still prefer the old Meater app for predictions though...
Anyway, cooked two turkey breasts in the Grilla OG smoker and could not get a BT signal across 30 feet line of sight unless I opened the screen door. It was a pain since it was also raining. The probe chargers were right next to the smoker so could get signal from the probe but the BT range sucked.
Trying to decide what to do now:
- Buy the Wifi Display for $80 and continue with the two 1st gen probes knowing I have excellent wifi signal in the grill area. Also, I don't use the wifi display as I prefer to use my phone to monitor.
- Get the 2nd gen themometer with wifi booster which, from the description, might send signals from all 3 probes? $145 right now
- Buy the 2nd gen with Wifi Display for $160 but from what I can gather, this does not have the wifi booster so not much benefit over option 1.
- Switch to Meater Pro Duo for $200 and get two multi sensor probes (thicker) and a wifi base station and their app with the easier to use and, at least 1-2 years ago, better prediction algorithms.

Hi everyone,
I'm in my mid/late 30s. Currently I make about $70k in a job with a municipal government (unionized, low stress). I don't dislike the job and don't feel a particular need to leave it. I have fulfilling side jobs (I play music - rock music, community theatre musicals, solo project) and am beginning to volunteer with a distress line.
In the past I've done a BA in English & Cultural Studies and past that did a certificate program in PR. However - I want very badly to go back to school. I feel so sad in this regard, it's absolutely one of the biggest regrets I have in my life. I am probably underselling just how deeply sad I am about this.
How should I navigate this? I don't have any particular goals or career aims - I barely know where to start! However, I'd love to go to (quote-unquote) 'grad school' and learn to write and research. I'd be interested in taking classes to get my writing up to that level rather than jumping right in (I've never been particularly *good* at school, and so to get comfortable in that is a major goal of mine).
I don't want to leave my job, so I'll have to take part time/asynchronous courses - which is tricky for me to stay focused on (I am very very bad with things that aren't firmly scheduled. As well, I have a lot of trouble navigating the web platforms for online school). I don't know where to start!
Ultimately there's just... so much I want to do, and I have no idea how to prioritize it. I don't want to ever not be in school again - ie once I finish a new program, I'd want to jump back in and go on to the next goal, tbh.
Any advice?

I am looking to either buy a Swampfox Arrowhead 1-10 or a Vortex Viper PST gen 2 1-6. I am just going to use it for target practice. What would you recommend?
For context, I am aware of the nice warranty vortex has, and the fact that the PST is actually day light bright, but I think having the 1-10 on the arrowhead might be nice too.
This will be my first optic ever, so I am not sure what would be best for my situation. Thanks!

I’ve been working here for 5 years, and never in that time have I dealt with so much distro. My store is tiny, with an even smaller system room and back room. It’s gotten so bad that we’ve had to store PS5s in the bathroom because we have absolutely no space. We’re not a big store we’re a small box and now, on top of everything, we’re suddenly a retro store too? The amount of inventory is overwhelming, and if anyone saw our back room, they’d probably break down just like I have.
What makes it worse is that my SL isn’t even trying to help. I do my best to clean and organize, to make some progress, but because she doesn’t know how to schedule properly, I end up working weekends. By the time I come back, the store is a disaster again. I’ve tried talking to him, but he just says, ‘Oh, I didn’t have time.’ Meanwhile, she schedules all the seasonals to work with her during the week, leaving me to do single coverage on my own without any seasonal support. What is she even doing during the week? It feels like she’s given up on everything except focusing on numbers. But we need more than that this store needs to be cleaned, the distro needs to stop piling up.
I honestly feel like I’m being pranked. Am I the only one who feels this way? I have so much more to say, but I feel like I can’t even bring it up to my DM because she’s the type to accuse me of going behind my boss’s back or undermining him. I already got a final for something I had no control over. Someone robbed the store while on my ex coworker, negligence but some how I was called in on my day off just to be told I was getting a final??? when I wasn’t even there???
Honestly, I hope this post isn’t recognized because I could get fired just for speaking out. This was supposed to be about distro issues, but now it’s turned into me venting about working in an unfair environment. I’m just so tired.
Ps. I love working here, the people, the environment, just work esthetic is just...yk horrible.
