So I'm 37 and the guy I'm talking to is 31 if that matters but he is Caucasian and I am black(duh). He has an adoptive black mother so he knows everything about the culture so its easy to talk to him about anything and he literally understands everything I say which is a huge breath of fresh air. We have fun, perfect xxx, and txt all day, makes good money and he wants me to travel with him soon for his work.
So I was wanting to know.... being US and being a woman in this world; We have been condition to take care of ourselves and be independent. Now he loves that I'm a hardworker striving towards my business goals and he literally offers to help especially when my business gets going. I have been trying to get rid of some couches that I have had for 11 months now and they've been sitting in my living room and he said he'll try to find someone who wants to buy them so he posted it to his friends group and sold the couches within 3 hours🙌🏾😩. I was like lord where did this man come from?🤣🤣🤣
Anyhow so my question is, since we've been conditioned to be independent especially as black women, he's always willing to go the extra mile for things and I always say it's okay you don't have to. Example I worked on Thanksgiving and his mom cooked and he wanted to bring me a plate but I told him it's okay he didn't have to. So he said all right but still made his mother pull out tupperware for me. The next day he said do you want me to bring you leftovers and I finally was like you know what, I'm going to let him be nice to me so I said okay. So his family lives out of town and they were visiting and he was hanging out with his dad and he got really drunk with his dad and brother at their house on Thanksgiving night and I told him it was okay cuz his family is in town and I understand. So he quickly apologized and said he's going to bring me some food the next day. The next day comes and he's obviously super hungover to where he's throwing up because he tried to keep up with his Dad drinking lol. I thought it was funny and I told him to stay home but he still insisted that he needs to bring me food regardless of how he feels. I kept telling him no, but he was like I need to bring the food. I told him to get some sleep and that we're going to have our Sunday Funday this week so he said okay. Another thing that happened was my brother ruined my birthday this year and I had reservations to this really expensive steakhouse. I had told him and he said well let's go next week. I told him it was okay and he kept insisting but I felt bad but he still brings it up all the time.
Am I being dumb and should I just let him cater to me? I am tired of being careful to men but I do feel bad for people going out of their way for me. Should I just let him do what he wants to do for me?

2024.11.30 16:40 Tairc Can't select champs from bench even though I own them?
Had this problem intermittently, and noticed it a LOT last game. I had rolled a champ I didn't like, and wanted to trade/swap with the bench (not another player). Even though I owned both Lissandra and Heimerdinger, and both were on the bench (again, not selected by another champ) they showed as grayed out, and I couldn't swap/go with them.
I own 94 champs, and it seems odd, because it feels like there are many times I can't swap my current with the bench... (I could swap with some others on the bench, mind... but not two champs I'm sure/checked/confirmed I owned).
Ideas? Thoughts? I've owned them for weeks now, so it's not like the servers didn't propagate...

My 14 year old bought a 3D printer after saving money from his 1st job and birthday money recently. He is obsessed with it, and I'm incredibly proud of him for working and saving for it. With Christmas coming up, I'd like to try and get him some tools or accessories that can help him make some cool and maybe slightly more advanced things. I just have no idea what I'd be looking for to help him out. I believe he mentioned needing alan wrenches for it, so I planned on getting him those, but can anyone else tell me what kind of useful tools or accessories would be the most helpful for him as he starts out? So far he's made some little toys and such, but I know he wants to try and do a little more advanced stuff as he gets more familiar with it. Thank you for any advice and input!

I've had an ED (not under medication or therapy; can’t afford either) for almost two years, started from restricting to bingeing. Currently trying to recover from BED. I was never very fit but took up running this year. It's been about half a year and I went from barely able to run a mile to a half marathon. Everyone says exercising isn't good for people who are trying to recover and i understand because at times l've found myself trying to use running to compensate for my binges. I'm thinking of trying to idk leave running and pick something else up? But I love running so much. It's very meditative for me. Like I'll zone out and just focus on my feet and the ground. I'm a very anxious person and don't really have the opportunity to socialise or step out of my house nor do I have the money to go to a gym. So my morning runs get me very relaxed and sort of puts prepared me for the day. Any advice? Suggestions?
