I'm in an incredibly painful and confusing situation right now, and Iām reaching out for advice or perspective. Yesterday, my fiancĆ© (we were supposed to marry on December 12th) dumped me, and I am left in shock.
Six days ago, I asked for some more time before we get married. I explained that I wasnāt ready, and I needed space to process things. This wasnāt a rejection of him or our relationshipājust a request for time. But when I brought it up, he completely blindsided me and suddenly decided he didn't want me anymore.
The situation escalated from there. I got overwhelmed by anxiety and started crying, which led to me getting emotional and acting out. I yelled and, honestly, I got violentāsomething I regret deeply. I charged at him, frustrated by the emotional rollercoaster I was on and his refusal to listen. That was wrong on my part, and Iām not proud of how I handled it. But in the heat of the moment, I couldn't contain my pain and confusion.
He told me he doesnāt love me anymore and that he would never regret leaving me. I begged him to reconsider, crying uncontrollably. But instead of trying to console me, he smirked at my pain and called me names. He even mocked me for crying, saying it was "psychotic" to cry that way and suggested I was overreacting. At one point, he even threatened to call the cops on me because I was so distressed. He looked at me with disgust while I was in tears.
This morning, after I cried all night, he said he still loves me but doesnāt want to be with me anymore. I feel like my whole world has shattered, and Iām so confused. One minute he says he doesn't love me anymore, and the next, he says he does but still refuses to be with me.
The worst part is that every time I cry, he gets annoyed, calls me names, and dismisses my feelings. Heās always made me feel like my emotions are a burden to him. This whole relationship has felt like an emotional rollercoaster, and now Iām left questioning everything. Iāve always been empathetic and vulnerable with him, but it feels like my emotions were always used against me.
I'm struggling to understand what just happened and why he treated me like this. I feel completely lost, and Iām not sure where to go from here. Has anyone else experienced something like this with a narcissistic partner? How do I even begin to process this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Wanted to share my recent experience with Fido so others don't get into the mess that I'm in. I've been a Fido customer for the last two years but have been with them from time to time. I've had minor billing issues but never anything that basically resembles a scam. About 5 day ago I called Fido to inquire about adding a 3rd line to my account. The promotions they offered were not what I needed so I told them I'm not interested. Before I hung up, the Fido agent asks me if she could tell me about an internet promotion. I'm currently shopping around for that so said yeah let me know. She tells me and I had a few questions for her including asking her if the promotion price was valid for a limited period (i.e. 2yrs). She wasn't sure and tells me she'll speak to her manager and call me back. An hour or so later she calls me back and leaves a voicemail saying she's sent me a link for the promotion so I have it and I can ignore it if I'm not interested. I wasn't going to be so I though I'll just ignore it. Lo and behold, the email she was referring to was one from Rogers Comwave asking for my payment info. I thought it was weird but ignore it. Next day, same email as a reminder. I call back Fido and ask did someone create an account for me? Fido agent and supervisor proceed to tell me "oh they're a seperate company, you'll have to call them" even though magically Fido was able to create this account. I eventually call Comwave directly when they send me another email - this time attaching a whole friggin bill to it!!! It also says that I will get an email with my installation date and that if I missed the appointment I'll be charge $50!!
Over the last few days I've spoken to Fido multiple times, Comwave once. Oh and if you call Comwave on the weekend their customer service team doesn't work...but of course the sales team is working and unable to help. Tech support is also working but can't help and they keep saying call back on Monday.
If there's anyone from Fido here, please know that your company is now running a scam, opening accounts for people without their consent. I've been happy with Fido for the last couple of yrs but am seriously considering changing companies now. If they can't keep customer information confidential and open accounts for them without their consent, then they really don't deserve anyone's business.

Just looking at how many years I have left to contribute to get a full state pension.
I'm 43, male, so I had no reason to think I would be any other than the standard 35 years for a full state pension.
It says I need to pay in 11 more years to get the full amount. If I manually count how many years of contribution I've made - that's 21.
It's showing 2 years where I have payable gaps. However I count it that doesn't get me to 35 years for full contribution.
Am I missing something or is the site just not reliable?
Also is it generally agreed it's worth paying this voluntarily given the expected return?

Hi everyone, hope you're doing great!
As the title indicates, I'm a little behind in the game. I started playing again a couple of days ago and boy it has changed. I don't remember exactly how many time has passed since I last played but it must be at least two years or more. Since I came back the last quest I did was rising tide, and I'm currently doing the rest of the chapter two.
I played the 1999 demo and this is what I really want to know, what exactly is 1999? A new game or just a game mod?. Should I prepare or something for it? and when will the full version of it be released?
I apreciate if someone can give a sort of recap and recomendation if I'm missing something important here.

I am trying to gather some info to make a purchasing decision, but the lack of solid (non marketing BS) info is maddening.
I know I'll be buying a roland pad based kit, and may also want to buy a seperate pad for 4th tom if the kit doesn't come with one. The issue I'm facing is that I cannot for the life of me figure out the difference between all their pads. Can someone do like an ELI5 on this for me?
As far as I can see right now, the only difference between the PDX100 and the PD10x/PD12x is that the latter comes in two sizes, and has a bit lower rim.

If I remember correctly, it started last season? We used to only have 1 writer for Yahoo player updates which now became 2 (Rotoworld and Rotowire). Though it provides more insights, it just looks kind of messy, having 2 different formats/writing styles. Your thoughts on it?
