Hello! I live in Kingston and like to take my dog on walks where she is in a long lead (30 ft) and can wander around freely, since she is not reliable off leash. I am looking for suggestions on locations - public open fields without a lot of other dogs or people around where she can wander around without bothering anyone. Am willing to travel around 30 minutes. Nice scenery is a plus.

We all have family who are stressors this season. Some of us are coping with behaviors that are mild while others are completely avoiding family. I get it. My heart goes out to you. My hope is that you don't find yourself lonely or feel that you are the problem. I am fortunate that I am able to avoid a codependent family member that is not in my immediate family. She is a stressor for me and my immediate family helps me cope by listening and supporting me through all of the guilt trips and avoided calls and texts. We cope by joking about these situations. I would categorize my personal plight as mild because I have strong support. I joined this sub to try to find emotional tools for which to deal with her emotional outbursts (exacerbated by this season). I found that many of you express much more serious problems than mine and I feel nothing but empathy for you. I wanted to express a little support from a complete stranger. This season I want you to know someone reads your threads and sees your feelings.

Emotions and connecting with Y'shua (Jesus) are very closely connected.
An encounter with the living YHWH (God the Father's name revealed to Moses in Ex 3) leaves us totally amazed and emotional at times.
Interacting with YHWH can be a super emotional experience. From the emotion experienced, one shares with others in absolute conviction based on the emotional intensity that accompanied the experience.
In other words: YHWH Himself is an extremely emotional being. But, He controls/manages Himself perfectly.
When it comes to emotional worship sessions, or emotionally nearing Him, they irritate, they lack realness. Unless He initiates the emotional aspect of it...
Point is, when interacting with YHWH, don't initiates it in an emotional way, unless you are broken and has come to Him pouring out your heart...
Initiating worship or connecting with Him in an emotional way first, causes a breakdown in true and real fellowship with His Spirit. Wait... Until He moves you...
Near to Him in the realness of the moment. Allow His Spirit to cause you to breakthrough into the emotional reality of what you are going through or might be experiencing, or what He wishes for you to experience.
How many are at this point? How many will allow for Him to break them through into the realness of feelings for situations/people?
To experience what He is experiencing is an awesome gift... He shares what He goes through on an emotional level with us. Seldom are we willing to take that upon us... It costs a lot. It costs us to die to what others might think when we break down under the power of the intensity of what He goes though, having His viewpoint or intercession on and inside and manifesting through you...

For the record, whether abiogenesis is true or not has no bearing on whether evolution was true or not , both are completely different things
But it's common for creationists to bring it up , but if we managed to prove that life can come from organic material naturally without Divine intervention, do you think that there would be a a huge wave of non religious people after that?

I have horrifically bad anxiety and depression. If i dont take medicine i become a crying wreck on the floor. However even with my medicine i am miserable and constantly annoyed by anxiety and nothing seems to be working.
Ive been taking tons of different types of medicine, nothing has done enough.
Ive done therapy, that didnt work either.
the medical system is too slow and too cautious to make any progress, and emergency psychological care is worthless because they cant do anything.
What is there left for me to do?
