So I bought an agency arms threaded barrel on GAFS (impulse buy) and not I’m debating what to do with it…
Agency arms comp uses 2 screws to secure.
PMM uses shims that have to be torqued down like a rifle muzzle device. Seems more complicated but is it better?
Anyone have experience with either can chime in?
For context, I own a shadow systems with the threaded comp and 2 screws design and it’s easy to use.

I have multiple goals that I'm trying to do at least little by little each day, like learning the finger abacus, learning Chinese (even though I take a class in school, it's not enough practice), studying for my permit, and staying on top of my grades while also needing to study and do homework when I'm back. I made a calendar to schedule these activities each day, but I stopped following it over three weeks ago. My first build ever! Swipe to pic 3, 4 for the build before the upgrade. Built the first version 1 week ago and upgraded everything within the last week lol, I’m getting addicted.
Started with the high motherboard mode and only 1 strimer. Didn’t like the gap at the bottom so I replaced 3x120mm SL-INF with 3x140mm SL-INF. Moved those 3x120mm to the AIO for the push&pull configuration. Decided to go with the triple strimer mod after I learnt about it from this sub. Moved the mobo to low mode so that I can install 1 more 120mm fan at the rear. By doing that, the strimer at the CPU 8 pin gets more space as well.
For now I’m quite happy, if I have the chance, I might add a 8.8 inch monitor to the part above the mobo, and find something to fill the screw holes on the fans, then it’s gonna be entirely perfect!

Introduction & Rationale
Seven months ago I posted something similar here, after scoring high on an extended online version of the Digit Span sub-tests from the WAIS-IV (here's the link: test).
As is usually the case for tests that include extended norms, the rarity of scores above +2SD - especially those above +3SD - was significantly overestimated, to put it mildly. As an example, on my first attempt I scored 30 Raw on both the Forward and Backward sub-tests (which weren't capped at length 9), and I got 220+ IQ results for both of these, which is absurd.
For this test, it's clear the IQ values are being calculated by equating z-scores (assuming a mean of 9.0 and standard deviation of 2.5 for the Backward sub-test, for instance). This assumption - that raw scores adhere to a normal distribution even beyond +3SD - reveals part of the reason why these extended norms fail to conform to common sense. I should also add that, even assuming raw scores are normally distributed, we'd still have to account for the correlation between Digit Span (Backward, say) and IQ, which is likely close to 0.6, since it's known that the correlation is 0.58 when using scaled scores - and although this does yield less unreasonable results, we'd still be using assumptions which are unlikely to be true.
Yet, even the WISC-V technical report on extended norms arrives at insanely high values for extended scales designed for highly intellectually gifted children! So how could we guess better?
Well, much like what happens in the natural sciences, wherein log-normal distributions sprout up everywhere you look, psychometrics has its own history with log-normality. (After all, it is something of a science itself!) Indeed, the original concept of IQ, namely ratio IQ, seems to be log-normally rather than normally distributed (Vernon Sare, 1951). This is an interesting try because an appropriately chosen log-normal distribution can look similar to a given normal distribution within the [-1SD, +2SD] range, say, so we wouldn't even loose much accuracy on the applicable range.
So, before we advance on to tables and charts, I recommend, to anyone who's interested, taking a look at the technical manuals for the WAIS-III and WAIS-IV; hopefully this guarantees full comprehension of the working memory sub-tests we're dealing with.
Data & IQ chart
Recent studies on the WAIS-IV normative sample have indicated that the mean and standard deviation for the Longest Digit Span Backward variable are 4.86 and 1.39, respectively. Moreover, only 4% of the sample achieved the maximum Longest Digit Span Backward score of 8.
But we'd be much better off with the granularity allowed by raw scores. Luckily, not only do we have those, but we have them organized by age! For both the 20-24 and 25-29 age brackets, the mean and standard deviation for Digit Span Backward are 9.0 and 2.5, respectively. This coincides with the values used on the 25-29 age bracket of previously mentioned online test, which is great and lends validity to it.
Thus, we may construct a chart containing, for each raw score on the Backward sub-test, the corresponding rarity implied by the test, and my attempt to guess what the proper rarity is, with the caveat that, because rarities get large quickly and the test itself already represented them as IQ values, I'll represent them as IQ as well.
The following chart counts for first attempts only.
