I recently purchased m4 Mac mini and since been trying to connect it to my 10 yo monitor. It only has dvi-i and dvi-d ports. I tried connecting it with an hdmi to dvi cables, but didn’t succeed. It only works for some time then blinks and stops working. I ordered some type c to dvi cables, but they won’t arrive until December 15. Any ideas what to buy/try?

Make dua when everything is going well! - Hadith Narrated Abu Hurayrah: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever would like Allah to respond to him during hardships and difficulties, let him increase in supplication during times of ease.”
Sunan al-Tirmidhi (3382).
Al-Suyuti said in al-Jami' al-Saghir (8724): “Authentic (Sahih).”
Muhammad Jar Allah al-Sa'di said in al-Nawafih al-'Atirah (385): “Authentic (Sahih).”
Al-Albani said in Sahih al-Tirmidhi (3382): “Sound (Hasan).”
[Commentary]
“Whoever would like Allah to respond to him” means whoever wishes or hopes for Allah to respond to their supplication. The meaning is that whoever finds joy in making supplication to Allah. “During hardships and difficulties” means challenging or distressing events and extreme difficulties. “Let him increase in supplication during times of ease,” meaning that a person should increase their supplications to Allah when they are in ease, not in hardships. The word used refers to the opposite of hardships and indicates times of comfort, good health, well-being, and the like.
The overall meaning is that as humans, we often tend to forget about Allah when things are going well, when we have no difficulties. But in times of difficulties and sadness, we turn to Allah. We tend to complain to Allah about the things that we don’t like and donn’t have, yet we don’t seem to appreciate the blessings He gives us. So this hadith shows the importance of making supplication when everything is well, to make a habit of thanking Allah in the good times and to show gratitude to Him. This way, one will be consistent, and it will become a habit to make supplication in one's good times and difficult times, ensuring the response of Allah in difficult times! Turning to Allah when everything is going well shows that in hard times, the person isn’t just asking out of need but out of true devotion. It shows that the person not only supplicates to Allah in difficulties, but also appreciates the blessings Allah has given him when everything is going well!
Allah says: {And when adversity touches man, he calls upon his Lord, turning to Him [alone]; then when He bestows on him a favor from Himself, he forgets Him whom he called upon before} [Surat al-Zumar 39:8]

First rebloom with me. 2) Ctt. SVO 9830 (Virginia Dickey X Barefoot Mailman) - it’s so sparkle-y! No fragrance. Purchased over the summer from SVO. First bloom seedling. 3) Zygo. Advance Australia X Zygo triste. Still blooming from my last post. Grape soda fragrance still going strong! 4) Phal. Jia Ho Summer Love. Faint jasmine to fruit loop scent. 5) Bc. Mari’s Glory ‘Avery’. First bloom. Buds just opening. No fragrance yet. But reportedly should be fragrant. 6) Onc. Tsiku Marguerite. Purchased last year. Seems to bloom twice a year for me. Has at least 10 spikes! So excited for this one! Has a very perfume-y fragrance like vanilla, sugar, and musk. Puppy photobomb as well. 7) Rlc. Sea Swirl ‘Whirlpool’. Smells amazing! Reportedly smells like digbyana which I’ve never smelled in person. Very strong, sweet, lemon scent. Purchased in bloom after smelling it about 2 weeks ago. 8) C. Purple Cascade ‘Sweet Beauty’. First blo. Also purchased in bud a couple weeks ago. Has a generic sweet Cattleya scent. Couldn’t resist 3 directions of growth, three inflorescences for $20 9) Zns. Purple Belle. About 2 years with me. Blooms twice per year. Develops hyacinth type fragrance about a week or so after opening if in natural sunlight. Flowers keep getting bigger with each bloom. 10) Lsz. Lava Burst ‘Puani’. One year with me. First bloom. No fragrance, but fun colors. 11) NoID phals. One is probably Queen Beer, but still technically NoID.
