2024.11.30 16:25 Lonely_Ice_2342 AITAH for breaking up with my lover because their financial situation?
I know this sounds horrible and i hope they don't find this but i really need to know if I'm being irrational or if this is a genuine concern.
So, we have been in a long distance relationship for 3 years, we have never seen each other, and both are in our thirties. There are other things in the relationship that have made me think about breaking up, but i think we can work in those.
In the 3 years they have never been able to had enough money to fly here, and i have proposed like three dates for me to fly over there, but they said don't have money to have me there even though i offered to pay everything. They had also proposed like two dates that ended in nothing and accused me of not trying enough because i wasn't hyped about they coming, i told them that it's just that i didn't wanted to have my hopes up and was being realistic (thing they asked me to be when i told them i felt like they were making excuses for me to not go there).
There are a lot of reasons for them to not being able to save money. Family reasons, health issues, not enough opportunities, etc. And they are in a rough spot right now, so it feels like a kinda asshole move to broke up, but i can't keep lying to them and myself being in a relationship where i just can't project a future together. I don't want a long distance relationship forever and can't see things working for the better.
So, would i be the asshole if i say this is a reason to broke up?

2024.11.30 16:25 SuccubusPrincess_ Why are there mages with an auto-attack passive when, in the late game, you never get to use it anyway, leaving you without a passive?
Take Orianna, for example. If she's laning against someone like Syndra or Azir, she won't really make use of her passive.
When she faces an assassin, sure, she can proc it a few times, and it deals good damage with Aery combined. But late game, you definitely don’t want to be in melee range as a squishy mage. So what's the point of this passive, and why hasn't it been changed yet? I know Orianna is still strong, but that's not really because of her passive, lol.
Also, I know I said "some", because I'm not sure how many there are. I know Ahri's W also targets the last enemy you hit, which is you auto in lane into W, but it makes sense for Ahri since she has high mobility and lich bane build. If I remember right, Heimerdinger turrets also targets the last enemy you auto attacked?

Ces semaines sont difficiles et longues, mais on peut accomplir beaucoup de choses en trois semaines. Lundi, un de mes cours commencera une nouvelle unité s'appelle "à la maison". Cet unité sera amusant et facile à enseigner, j'espère. L'un de mes autres cours, on finira l'unité 2 avant les vacances d'hiver. Mon autre cours, on finira le premier thème : la famille et la communauté.
Ce week-end, je dois noter les examens.

Hey fellow bass people!
I'm finally after 23 years of playing bass on and off looking to get my first fretless. I was just about to play it safe and buy a Sire V7 when I found an Aria Pro II SB700 from 1980 for sale online for about the same price. I've always enjoyed a second hand instrument and remember being impressed by an Aria last time I played one about 10+ years ago. The bass seems pretty reasonably priced but has some dings and a repair which is to be expected on a 45 yr old bass.
I'm not able to get to the shop to demo it so was wondering what Bass's collective wisdom is!

I used to have it all. Friends, followers, flings.. etc. Its all gone now its been gone for the past 3 and a half years and ever since then I've felt utterly useless without it. I feel like a loser. I miss interacting with my followers and putting polls on my stories and getting questions from them. Its like they actually wanted to know me and be around me. Now I feel empty inside and I haven't been able to fill the void ever since. The fact that I got so big in the first place without buying followers or dumping money into it seems like a miracle in of itself. Things will never be the same. I miss going live and feeling the high of people actually watching me. I'm depressed and at a cross roads. I'm not as popular irl. I felt more accepted and that people knew me better there more than in real life. Just felt like venting. Needed to get it off my chest.

Hey guys,
I've done a lot of researching and most people are saying the same thing as the next, but are there settings that people have found that work best with Act 3 whilst playing on Steam Deck? We were about to do a run and my friend tested it on theirs and it just so happened to still run like shit, 20FPS and unplayable. Has Larian addressed this at all? Kinda frustrating when it is advertised as Steam Deck Certified...

Okay so a few days ago i beat Dark Souls 3 SL1. Picked up demons souls PS3 for the first time, im about 12 hours in, and so far im hating the game, it feels extremely frustrating, the mobs are basic and annoying, the bosses are laughable, the lore is bland might as well have been written by a middleschooler. I do NOT recognize any aspect of From's mastery, it feels like a cheap soulslike ripoff.
I just beat the Penetrator, and these 3 red spirits have been kicking my ass, like the hell is it with this shield-gear-destroyer spear wielding asshole? Is this supposed to be a meme? I just dont understand this game's gameplay, at all. Do you have any tips, i feel im misunderstanding many aspects of the game, ty.
