I have written for a long time about closure and acceptance. I finally got some closure and I can’t say how much it helped me. It wasn’t planned and happenstance played a role. I don’t know what comes next but I am just so grateful to have had that opportunity.
I knew I needed it and I couldn’t shake that feeling, no matter what. Closure became my sole focus. I tried many different ways to find it on my own but felt like I was spinning in circles.
Having that opportunity and not having any expectations was exactly what I needed to get unstuck.
So, if you feel you can’t move on without it hopefully you can reach out to try to get some closure for yourself.
Maybe you have the ability to offer closure to help the person you once cared for. Maybe offering that closure will let you feel more comfortable knowing you tried to add some clarity to the break up, especially if it was emotional and couldn’t happen before.
I don’t expect everyone out there needs closure like I did but for those that do, I hope you can get some.
Acceptance of the past is so important. The ability to look back and view the good times and then bad times as a collective experience is healthy. To understand the other side of the story better than I did before is a priceless gift.

 | This is my 8 month old puppy. The baby is sleeping safely in her play pen. The Christmas tree is up in the corner. The dog is trying her best to get me to hold the beef cheek. I’ve been asked if I’m going to rehome my dog(s). This is my second Rottweiler, and second child, and I’ve heard it all. How can you trust them? Easy. Training, boundaries. What if the dog is too rowdy? Easy. Crate training. What if the baby and dog need you at the same time? Harder, but baby comes first. If I have to clean up pee on the floor, that’s fine. What if you want to put the baby down? Easy. Barriers. I have a baby gate to separate the puppy from the bedrooms and a play pen to allow the baby and I some space, without worrying about the dog in the baby’s space. I have yet to see any. I seen Grok has a reduced consumables dropped mod but that doesn't effect ammo. I'm 75 hours into my first playthrough and have over 4-5000 rounds of each ammo type lol

My Girl Scout troop (14-year-olds) wants to go to an art museum to complete one of their badges. They'd like to find an exhibit that is woman-related. The badge is about creating a Girltopia--a perfect world for girls. Ideally, the exhibit would show girl power or women overcoming odds. There are so many exhibits and museums, I was hoping someone here might know an exhibit that fits the bill. We live in MoCo and plan to visit DC in January or February at the latest.
Alternatively, we can do an activity where we audit the gender of the artists and determine if women are under-represented and imagine what might be missing if women's voices are missing.

2024.11.30 16:40 Emergency-Dot-2555 2 outta 3 can't get it right
Made 3 stops on Green Wednesday. Only 1 place got the order right, charged me correctly and properly deducted things from the mmu.
1 only charged me for 7 of 9 items and as such those 2 weren't deducted from mmu. The total took him a bit to figure and I just guessed he was using sale prices I'd not seen? We went over all, he put it in the bag and told me how much. I paid very close to what I had expected and left. Only now seeing two items aren't on receipt nor taken out of mmu?
1 charged me correct sale price, gave me correct items but only deducted half of it from mmu that day. Now days later ALL of it shows 'correction justification' and is 0 in all routes. Nothing dispensed.
Certainly not complaining and I paid for everything it's just strange how messed up things can get in the back? It all worked in my favor but for sure could go the other way. Gotta watch that.
