Got confirmation from our OB that we can try to do the NIPT at 9 weeks, and assuming there’s enough DNA to come back conclusive we’ll know the results be Christmas and we’ll plan on telling family during various celebrations (on both sides). At this point some of them have already guessed, and I’d rather not wait any longer, even if I miscarry. Anyone have any ideas or plans for how to break the news in a fun way?

After 2 months of NC, my ex reached out to me asking about a bill that she thought I had paid but was not my responsibility at all - she messed up a boat I had rented for her and the damages were in excess of 1500+
She emailed me and basically was like my account has $0 and I’m getting hit with overdraft fees because they took the money out - asking me to call the rental company to get it back
I did and they said the charges were valid, so my ex and I got on a call and she told me that as she’s been unemployed for a while and can’t afford this rn, doing the convo some flairs arose which to me showed she still cared
I sent her ~2k. Do you think this helps me get her back?

I started fermenting foods last year, and it’s been such a fun and rewarding experience. But, as much as I love it, I constantly face challenges finding the right recipes or troubleshooting my ferments when something goes off-track. From what I’ve seen in this community, I’m not the only one—it seems like a lot of us are on the same boat!
So, here’s an idea I’ve been toying with: I’m a software engineer, and I’m thinking of building a mobile app specifically for fermenters like us. It would include recipes for sauerkraut, kombucha, and other fermented goodies, with tools to help make the process easier and less stressful.
I’d love to hear your thoughts:
Would an app like this be helpful to you? Would you use such kind of app? What features would you want to see?
