 | I’ve had this happen multiple times over the last few weeks and trying to see if I’m doing something wrong. I have a newborn and wake up multiple times a night but usually don’t check my phone or watch for anything other than the time. It’s seeing that I’m asleep but then it just goes to this weird blocky greyed out sleep stage chunk. I’ve adjusted it to make sure it’s tight enough so the sensor is touching. Hi all,
I was doubting whether i should post this. But i think it's important to share and i am also writing this in the hope that someone reads it. Someone in particular.
My story is a common one (on here at least). I have been on Z for 8+ years, and decided to taper off. In the process, almost at the end, the anxiety, fear and physical manifestations became so crippling, i upped back up to 25, and then to 50.
I struggled with massive side effects while onboarding on 50mg, and felt the void sucking me in. I was in a BAD place. Around that time, i met someone here on this sub, we connected, we were going through similar journeys, and he helped me so much. i felt seen, supported, understood and encouraged. We talked only for a very short time, but it was a crucial time in my surviving the side effects, and i felt like i could actually do this.
then, for reasons, he left. and my mental health took a serious nosedive. I was thrown back into extreme insomnia, heightened anxiety and absurd crying spells. I was in shambles for a week that seemed endless. This was week 3. This sub had been incredibly supportive, and i met some wonderful people here.. However, i really still miss him, and it's taking me a serious amount of strength to keep it together sometimes.
now, at the end of week 5, i feel reasonably stable. Crying spells are over, insomnia is still terrible but i manage.
what i am struggling with is this feeling of loneliness (not depression) and emotional numbness. I can't feel anything most of the time, and when i do, it comes out in an explosion of unpleasantness, it's like staring at the void knowing it's going to swallow you whole.
My point it, restarting the medication is always better when you have a support person or people.
i hope mine comes back and checks in with me, and i do wish everyone who is (re)starting a smoother journey than mine had been.

I recently purchased m4 Mac mini and since been trying to connect it to my 10 yo monitor. It only has dvi-i and dvi-d ports. I tried connecting it with an hdmi to dvi cables, but didn’t succeed. It only works for some time then blinks and stops working. I ordered some type c to dvi cables, but they won’t arrive until December 15. Any ideas what to buy/try?

 | Narrated Abu Hurayrah: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever would like Allah to respond to him during hardships and difficulties, let him increase in supplication during times of ease.” Sunan al-Tirmidhi (3382). Al-Suyuti said in al-Jami' al-Saghir (8724): “Authentic (Sahih).” Muhammad Jar Allah al-Sa'di said in al-Nawafih al-'Atirah (385): “Authentic (Sahih).” Al-Albani said in Sahih al-Tirmidhi (3382): “Sound (Hasan).” [Commentary] “Whoever would like Allah to respond to him” means whoever wishes or hopes for Allah to respond to their supplication. The meaning is that whoever finds joy in making supplication to Allah. “During hardships and difficulties” means challenging or distressing events and extreme difficulties. “Let him increase in supplication during times of ease,” meaning that a person should increase their supplications to Allah when they are in ease, not in hardships. The word used refers to the opposite of hardships and indicates times of comfort, good health, well-being, and the like. The overall meaning is that as humans, we often tend to forget about Allah when things are going well, when we have no difficulties. But in times of difficulties and sadness, we turn to Allah. We tend to complain to Allah about the things that we don’t like and donn’t have, yet we don’t seem to appreciate the blessings He gives us. So this hadith shows the importance of making supplication when everything is well, to make a habit of thanking Allah in the good times and to show gratitude to Him. This way, one will be consistent, and it will become a habit to make supplication in one's good times and difficult times, ensuring the response of Allah in difficult times! Turning to Allah when everything is going well shows that in hard times, the person isn’t just asking out of need but out of true devotion. It shows that the person not only supplicates to Allah in difficulties, but also appreciates the blessings Allah has given him when everything is going well! Allah says: {And when adversity touches man, he calls upon his Lord, turning to Him [alone]; then when He bestows on him a favor from Himself, he forgets Him whom he called upon before} [Surat al-Zumar 39:8] And Allah Knows Best.
