(29m) I started with twitches above my eye 3 weeks ago which eventually moved to all over my body - arms, legs, stomach ect and now they are more within my arms and mainly legs I don’t have any signs of muscle weakness but I did yesterday have some cramps in my leg aswell after stretching?
Should I be worried? I feel like my anxiety is making it worse and I can’t stop thinking about it. I have booked an appointment with the doctor next week..

I've been re-reading the manga and am up to the part where Tetsuo goes to visit Lady Miyako in book 20. He's looking for an explanation for what he saw when he looked into Akira's mind. Lady Miyako tells him "we are all part of the flow of the same great stream" among other things. I think this part of the story is mind-bending and wanted to see if anyone has insights into the things they discuss.
- Even though "we are all part of the flow of the same great stream" Lady Miiyako also says "Akira is not in the stream". Does this mean Akira is a god, not bound by the limits of our world?
- "When Tetsuo says, "What the hell is Akira?", Lady Miyako replies, "You are the only one who can find the answers. To do so is your destiny." Tetsuo seems reluctant to take on this responsibility and she asks if he's afraid. Does Lady Miyako not understand the nature of Akira since she is in the great stream and he's not? A couple of issue later, Tetsuo sees the great stream for himself (not just by looking into Akira's mind) and when he returns home, Akira flashes him a goofy smile. Is Akira acknowledging that Tetuso has joined him outside of the great stream?
- Lady Miyako says men "possess one power capable of stopping the stream. When this power is used, the stream will stop for an instant and then resume it's course with redoubled intensity". What could this be? Seems unexpected that men might have this power since she also says they are "just driftwood" in the stream.
- In one of the flashbacks we see the psychic children in the 20 series group standing with each other and comparing the numbers on their palms which is immediately followed by the first destruction of Tokyo. Did Akira destroy Tokyo the first time completely unprovoked?
- She says, "The ultimate trend toward the uniformity of all things in inevitable and irreversible". This is far out. Maybe she's talking about a reverse big bang theory?

2024.11.30 16:41 PrinceShaar I need help to decide on my next upgrade
I'm at the point where I need to upgrade all the main components in my pc but my budget is limited so I have to prioritise and I'm not sure whether or not to jump up to the new AM5 mobo and processor.
I'm currently running on an AMD RX590 Fatboy (I forgot if it's 80 or 90), and a Ryzen 3 1200 CPU (I know)
A concern of mine is that my graphics card may not survive much longer, the one I have is from another pc I helped build at the same time as mine and the original from my pc died recently, so I don't know how much life this one has left.
My question and request for recommendations is for whether I should upgrade the processor to a good AM4 or save up for the AM5 upgrade as I'll need a new mobo ram and processor at the same time.
I know I'm going to upgrade the graphics card sooner or later anyway so that's fine.
Will AM4 be supported for a good few years more or is this a good time to get onto AM5?

2024.11.30 16:41 Remarkable_Put_7952 Most straight edged people (no alcohol/smoking) I have met are antisocial and/or have poor social skills.
This is not to encourage anyone to drink, smoke or do illegal drugs if they do not already. This is also not to encourage binge drinking, nor excess drug use. This is simply an observation I have had with people. Out of all the people I have ever met, most people who don’t drink, smoke or do illegal drugs have poor social skills.
I don’t quite know the reason as to why, it may just be a “correlation does not equal causation”. This may be because drinking and smoking are coincidentally both social activities and a lot of time spent doing both involves meeting people. A lot of straight edged people I met usually don’t like to go out with people, usually are comfortable with their own company and aren’t very good with social situations.
A theory I have as to why this may be the case is because when a person first starts drinking or doing other illicit substances, they initially don’t feel the need to ‘fit in’ or ‘impress people’. That’s why straight edged people feel like “Oh, I don’t have to do that to fit in with the crowd.” Most people who have had their first drink, cigarette, weed or other substances usually do it under the impression of ‘fitting in’ and ‘being cool’. Since straight edged people don’t really care about what society may think or what makes them cool, they may choose not to partake in such substances. They will prioritize their health over fitting in with people.
Once again, this is not to encourage any drinking, smoking or illegal drug use. This is simply an observation.

I am sharing my today's progress What I did, implemented today.
Today -
- Added new option menu to AI Response Message which have a "Generate Quiz" Menu Item.
- A Quiz Generation Dialog box, that take Quiz Title, Quiz Type, Number of Questions, Difficulty as Input and send payload to backend.
- Backend create a entry to MongoDB for a new Quiz with status IDLE, that later will be updated to IN_PROGRESS by Asynchronous AWS Lambda Function.
- After creating entry, AWS Lambda function is triggered with proper payload to generate Quiz such as Context, number of questions, difficulty level etc.
- After generating quiz questions, it will update MongoDB entry using quiz ID and set its status to COMPLETED.
- Frontend will be pinging quiz endpoint to check its status after every 3 seconds.
