Iām fortunate enough to currently be averaging 18 a day full spectrum outpatientā¦ I know others see much more. My network is trying to force my hand and increase that to 24ish a day. Iām currently billing out in the top decile and have the top patient satisfaction scores in my region.
My contract is up this year and I plan to try to negotiate a patient cap.
Has anyone been successful in leveraging these big corporations. From what they told me they are all focused on āencountersā now and going away from the revenue/RVU model.
A friend of mine suggested leveraging all the āinbox/messagesā as encounters. Iām sure most of us spend hours on the inbox whether itās answering questions, prescribing meds or managing refills and doses. Anyone successful in using this as leverage against increasing patient caps?

I have fully come out of the spiritual inner dimensional closet with myself and with my close friends and family. I don't care.
To be or not to be is the question we should ask ourselves. Are we still scared we are going to get strung up and killed for being the heretics we are or are we seriously unafraid this time around?
Work life is different I fully understand that. If you have a job or career where you have very like-spirited people around you then consider yourself very lucky. Many of us straddle two very conflicting dimensions working with the asleep population.
It is becoming too much and some days I am sick of this mission and would love to get the hell on. But here I am, continuing on, hoping that ETs make themselves known and the first layer of contact happens. I will laugh and cry in exasperation and relief at the same damn time.
Finally, then we can come out fully in our work environments and help people adjust to our new emerging REality and we can stop living a complete lie.

I just looked it up, and as expected, like most classic Christmas songs, The "Most Wonderful Time of the Year" was written by Jewish composers. Do you suppose the line about scary ghost stories was some kind of misunderstanding? Were they just making stuff up?
It doesnāt even rhyme with anything, and "glories" is kind of a weird thing to throw into a Christmas song anyway, so itās not as though they desperately needed "stories" to rhyme with "glories."
If they had to keep "tails of the glories" why not "bright festive stories"?
