I asked a couple of friends that I’ve been friends with for what feels like forever and they said I was and that this is normal but it doesn’t feel normal at all so I’ve come to reddit for help. I have no one else I can go to and I don’t think this is actually crazy..
so this friend i’ve known for 4-5 years now is starting to get really creepy. i can’t just drop him because he knows my family well and he’s almost like my parents child. he like always msgs me when he’s sad or upset about something he msgs me. this time when we were talking he said “idk [name], my mind is just in places” so i said “i get it mine goes into weird places too” and he just kept pushing and he was like “well what places? what kind? hm?” and i was like “idk just overthinking and stuff i guess”.. he then just kinda told me about a segual song or at least that’s what i think it is i haven’t listened to it..
this isn’t the first time he did something like this or has texted/said stuff like this to me. it’s been like this over text and in person and it’s starting to get weird. he keeps asking “when can i see you again?” because we both went to school but i didn’t tell him u dropped out so he doesn’t know where i am or what i’ve been up to as of recently.
is this normal?? i really need help.

2024.11.30 23:02 Hellinfernel Do you know that feeling when you are just not in the mood for drama?

It's more of a general feeling that I currently have, not sure if it has a specific cause of not, but at the current moment I am just very much not in the mood for big drama.
Yesterday I finished Arcane on Netflix with my mom and the finale hit me more than expected due to some story decisions I didn't expect from a meta perspective. It was still quite enjoyable, despite all the drama, primarily because my favorite character, Viktor, just stands pretty much beyond all of the conflict between the different nations and just does his thing of improving the world with hextech. Today I wanted to watch the newest episode of Helluva boss, but after the first minute it became clear that I just wasn't in the mood for the content right now, despite liking the show otherwise. Also I feel even more uncomfortable than usual when my parents are quarreling again about some nonsense nobody should give a fuck about that hard. And there is still a unresolved conflict with my teacher where I just don't want to speak up to prevent making things worse. Which is weird because I was notorious for excessive arguing in school about, well, basically everything, but the current teacher never saw that happening in action so far. I am currently also kind of avoiding politics on Twitter despite being interested due to the realization that most political arguments are so stupidly pointless and only serve to manipulate the voters towards a certain voting direction rather than true open-minded discussions about certain topics like taxes.
It feels like there is something in me that is... I cannot even really describe it, but currently all I want is... Peace. I want cuddle, I want pet a cat. I want to sleep in the arms of someone. Something like that. It feels different than my usual touch starvation. It feels... Like I am tired. Not depressed like a few years ago, but still kinda ahedonic. Passionless. Not in the mood for my usual projects I abandon after two weeks. I just want something comfortable.
I don't know what it is, I just want to talk in all honesty.

So, FYI I am NOT tearing up library books. I'm taking the one's they are giving away for free and using the covers for my sketchbooks, as I HATE making the covers.
But now that I have the old book text blocks, I have decided to turn the paper into pulp and recycle it, rather than throwing it out. I still feel bad though lol
It's a nice source of premade covers and a nice way to supply myself with paper to recycle for free, but even though they're giving them away for free, I feel bad taking and ruining a book that someone else could have enjoyed...

So this year in my group confirmed there are 4 people along with possibly one more person, for context it’ll be two couples plus one other person . It’s mainly me and my boyfriend that’s trying to set everything up together (it’s his third year and my second year) and we’ve took a look and air bnb, hotels, and possibly camp. We’re interested in the 4 people pod but worried about the space in there along with what materials we’d need to bring. As for hotel it sounds fun because of the djs that’ll do performances there as well as being in a building with ravers. As for bnb i feel this our best option because we like the pay half now and half later and everyone would get their own space and such. As you can tell im all over the place about this and have considered pros and cons. What has worked better for your rave fam? Ofc we also wanna budget well and not spend a crazy amount but we are all willing to put in at least $500 each for whatever it is that we are staying at.

Show our support to Horikoshi more than ever. I sincerelly hope that the good side of the fandom will show its support to Horikoshi these days. That man is getting a lot of hate for making Izuocha canon.
His twitter account is full of toxic and childish Bakudeku shippers herassing him just because he didn't make their twisted fantasy canon.
Anyone who has a little bit of media literacy knew that Izuocha was the only ship with Deku that made sense in the actual plot, and it's not Horikoshi's fault if stupid fans decided to give more importance to their headcanons and made a complete twisted version of this manga in their minds.
That's why I hope that all those fans who have dignity and respect for the story that Horikoshi worked hard to write so far show their support to him.
Comment positive things, make him feel that true fans who love this manga for its story and not for the ships did appreciate his work.
I think he will really need this.
Horikoshi could have left things as they ended in the chapter 430 (no canon ships at all) but decided to take a risk and make the most logical ship canon, knowing that that would bring a lot of hate to him.
He had guts.
