I’m a creative designer who is critical, especially of people with money for not doing more fun things with it when they can afford to.
From a structural perspective, why don’t we see steps to a rooftop deck on a standard pitched roof? With a 6/12 pitch it is well within rise/run requirements, you could double up on the rafters in this particular spot. Just pop a little deck right off of a dormer and push up to the top.
This particular project is not vaulted. There are framing members splitting the 2nd floor into two spaces, so it seems doable to support the loads presented in this design.

I consider my 96 gsr the greatest car I have ever owned and plan on never selling it. I’m just curious if anyone here has had the same feeling about a newer replacement car. I always thought I would upgrade to an s2000, but couldn’t find an issue with my integra. I never got tired of it. Now I can’t afford one. My car history is a weird mix, from my first car: 69 karmann ghia, 90 Cadillac deville, 68 corvette, 51 Plymouth, 58 beetle, 96 civic, 02 deville, 92 civic hatch, 05 civic si, 51 Chevy, 92 corvette, 99 corvette, 04 maxima. I want to replace the maxima with an element. My dream car is a 32 ford hot rod. I still own the ghia, beetle, 68 corvette, integra, 99 corvette, 05 si, and maxima. Nothing really felt as good as the integra, even the civic si feels so different and is always broken. I truly love cars. I’m curious about the nc Miata lately.

Idk if it’s my LO or my game. It’s cannot load into any auto-save files. The game will crash to the homepage when I try. It doesn’t matter if the LO is the same, changed, or deleted. If I exit the game and try to load back into anything that isn’t a full save my games crashes. It’s so weird.

2024.11.30 23:00 Elitju Updating drivers glitches stuff
I had this issue before where banners would slowly not show anymore. Then agent animations as I locked in. Then eventually I wouldn't load into games until 3 min after playing with my friends. Went away when I reinstalled valorant. Now I updated my nvidia geforce drivers again and same issues except agent animations. I have an rtx 2060, and mainly updated it because of lagspike issues when fights happened, but now I just don't load in at all. Anything I'm missing?

I’m flying United and for the first time ever have encounter in flight entertainment that gives me the option to enable Bluetooth connection for audio. I’ve been wondering for some time when we’d get this, but thought it would only ever be through audio jacks.
It was super easy to connect. Now i’m listening to a movie on the plane through my hearing aids!
