So, this was interesting.
I lucid dream every so often. Up until recently I would suddenly 'wake up' inside a dream and then go flying (it's the first thing I do...always). But, lately I've started realising I'm in a dream, which is a new experience. 'Waking up' was a sudden jolt of 'Oh, I'm dreaming', whilst 'realising' was more 'Wait, is this a dream? Let's find out if I can read...oh, I can't, so this IS a dream. Let's go fly'.
The 'waking up' doesn't last long, whilst 'realising' gives me much more control.
Anyway, a couple of weeks ago I have a realisation that I might be dreaming, so I check my phone to see if I can read text messages. When I discover I can't, I decide to go flying. But, just as I'm about go start, I'm wrenched into the air by something. It lifts me higher and higher...so high that I can see countries...and I start to panic about getting back. And, I am still lucid. I am aware that I should have control...but don't. Just as I'm panicking about what will happen when I leave the atmosphere, I wake up in my bed.
But...
...I can feel something wrapped around my legs, like a tentacle. I'm on my front, but it feels as though this tentacle is holding my legs in the air. High in the air, so high that I basically have only my head and ear on the pillow. I have never experienced any kind of sleep paralysis, so this is weird. So weird, in fact, that I have to reach my hand down to see if the tentacle is real. At which point, the tentacle slithers away, and I am lying in bed again.
Very creepy.

i was going to put in into a over kill pc build https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/t7dW28 but ive had to hold back beauce of the shortage of the 4090, i wanted a msi 4090 suprim x but the gpu sold out the day i was going to buy it.. ironic.. i could go for a strix 4090 but im not that desperate because i already made my mind up what gpu i wanted out of the two, id rather wait for a 5090.
becuase i went this idea. i decided to upgraded my cpu to the r7 9800x3d https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/WgG3t3 waitting for a 5090 for this build.

Gyms being defeated and taken over by the other team every ~40 minutes with no Instinct gyms in sight. This is what I see right outside the city. I was simply on the wrong side of town. Curious if anyone has found a decent test plastic to try new ideas on instead of using a disc. I’ve used mini markers to inconsistent results and those aren’t really cheap anyway.
I’ve been considering things I see in recycling but wondering if we throw away or recycle any plastic that’s as high quality as what we dye.

We closed on our house on November 18th and have been putting some work into it before moving in. When we bought it, there was a huge mirror hanging in the living room. On the outside of the house, there is a stained glass mirror that looked like it was behind the mirror. When we took the mirror down today though, we found out that someone at some point had plastered and insulated over the window! My father in law (the guy in the pictures) graciously offered some of his expertise, and said he’d be able to cut out that part of the wall if we wanted the window back. Today, he did just that, and for the first time in God knows how long, light came through part of that window and into the living room!
The last picture is what the one other stained glass window in the house looks like, and it was like that when we moved in. We’re going to be building some new trim on the newly uncovered window to match that one as close as possible. (We also pulled all the carpet up and found hardwood floors! We’ll be having them refinished soon too and it’s all going to look so good together, and with a fresh coat of paint!)

Ok. So. I(15 M) have been dating them for about 4 months (soon to be 5) but I got into a relationship with them really quickly after I was going through some issues (bad ones too) I tried to slow things down. (My fault) but got into a relationship really fast with them. about 2-3months in the relationship I was talking about how I may be Demi-romantic and yes my wording was kinda bad, but they asked if we are breaking up, it kinda freaked me out, i apologized and told them no, but they did this on a public acc of mine not dm me asking abt it, yeah they aren't perfect and I don't want them to be, but they couldve handled this better in my opinion. Weeks later we were talking and they made one small mistake that was over nothing, and I don't even remember what it was about but it left me to ask for space for a day, but they sent me a message on my strawpage (strawpages, you can send like annon messages to someone. Kinda like tumblr) Saying they are sorry, I didn't see it till I cleared it up with them but after seeing that it made me paranoid bc they didn't gonna let me have space when I need it. Now of days I try to talk to them, show I love them and all but it always somehow makes me feel bad.
I've been thinking of breaking up but I don't know if I should just take those as red flags, me being paranoid/weird, or something. I just don't know if I'm being an asshole for wanting to break up with them over these things

hi yall - so i’ve been officially in no contact with my ex for just about 3 months now and yesterday he “accidentally” called me even though we have not spoken to one another since late august. the reason why i don’t think it was accidental bc i think it’s pretty hard to scroll down in your contact’s and call someone imo. also, another reason is because when he said it was an accidental call he also said a phrase (that i won’t say cause it might make it too obvious) and that phrase was only said when he wanted my attention. even my friend agrees with me saying it doesn’t seem so accidental since he said that phrase cause he could’ve easily said “sorry my mistake” or nothing at all. apart of me is thinking he’s testing out the water to see if i will take the bait or maybe even seeing if i blocked his number cause he blocked me on snapchat after the last time of us being together.
i’ve been constantly thinking about it and it happened almost 24 hrs ago. i want to say it’s all good and asked how he is doing but i know it won’t serve me any good. but man i miss him so much.
maybe it was truly an accident and im making a mountain out of a mole hill. i just wish it didn’t get to this point.

A bit about me - I’m 34, I moved to Ohio last year from Florida but grew up in Western Canada (my husband is American & I was the one to move) and I love Ohio so far. I work from home in the tourism industry, and I really enjoy what I do but miss human contact sometimes.
To answer the typical ‘what do you do for fun?’ question in advance so you can see if we have things in common, most of my free time is spent reading, mostly fiction of any genre, although I’m in a total reading slump right now. I like to go for walks or on a hike (yes, I know that’s super typical to read on here). But most of my evenings are spent curled up on the couch with a book while a hockey game plays in the background. I’m a Ducks fan (my dad picked them for me when I was 3), so if you’re also a hockey fan, even better.
Since I’m only looking for friends I genuinely don’t care about what you look like, age, gender, relationship status, etc. Ideally you are within a couple times zones of me though (EST), just out of convenience. Voice notes can be fun, but also totally open to just keeping the chat on here.
