2024.12.01 01:41 Commercial-Option248 Can you drive with a faulty crankcase hose?
I drive a 2022 Chevy blazer. My check engine light came on about 2 hours ago and I had it checked at 3 different auto shops and all said that I need to get my crankcase ventilation hose connection serviced. What does this mean? I’ve googled it and I’m not understanding the severity and it’s psyching me out. I called a few mechanics and they can’t get me in until next weekend but I work 30 minutes away and do a lot of driving throughout the week. I haven’t really noticed much of a difference besides a slight dip in performance, but I figured it might’ve been bc it just snowed and is a high of 20 degrees today. And I’m talking about like a very small decrease, like it might’ve taken me a second longer to get up to speed while merging on the highway. That’s it. No strange noises or anything else. I watched a couple YouTube videos and it looks like a fairly simple fix. When I had my 2011 Hyundai Elantra, I did small repairs on it myself by watching YouTube videos. Wondering if that’s something possible with this issue.
TLDR; Can you water down the severity of a crankcase ventilation hose ? Can I drive with it acting up until I can be seen by a mechanic?

Everyone knows you need to regularly launder your pillow cases, but everyone has an allowance for how much time is appropriate.
If you think about it, we sweat from our heads a LOT through the night. As the sweat dries, it leaves residue and germs/bacteria will harbor on your pillow cases. By the next night, that is going right onto your face.
My wife and I started to put 7 clean pillowcases on our pillow because we are too lazy to launder and replace them daily, or even weekly.
You can get 7 clean days (if you strip a case right before bed every night); 14 clean days (if you flip your pillow every day, and strip every two days); or if you’re extra lazy like me, 28 clean days (night one, completely clean. Pick a side. Night two, turn it 180 degrees. Use the top portion of your “dirty” side. Night 3, flip it over to the “clean side”. Night 4, use the top portion of the 2nd dirty side by turning 180 degrees. Strip on night 5).
We have had remarkably clean skin ever since we took this approach. Less acne, pimples, and ingrown hairs.
And we can still be lazy AF!

The complications of penile surgery after penis fractures are very minor, it wouldn't have hurt us and may have been able to save our penises after our injuries. But doctors won't operate and deglove the penis unless you have the classical penile fracture. I tried after my injury and nobody would do it...
I'm starting to think think trauma based HF is possibly a penile micro fracture where part of the tunica or fascia is torn which causes structural abnormalities if it's allowed to heal back normally.
