It’s becoming more and more blaintly obvious that the police and council spending is messed up. The police are driving around in 74 plate brand new cars when money could be spend elsewhere.
One example of where the budget could be spent is community centres, which have seen significant budget cuts and closures.
My theory is that if u educate the youth outside of school by giving them mentors and someone to guide them down the right path without trying to criticise them then naturally they will do better and make better moral decisions. Meaning that then in the future years the need for more hands on policing will gradually decrease.
Why are community centres being disregarded when it is clear we are living in a time of increasing crime rate with no sign of slowing down any time soon.
Am I wrong in thinking this or is my thought process logical?

A few days ago, I caught a friend playing mind games on me while I was depressed (they admitted to it).
I'm curious if these are other manipulative techniques that I've noticed below or what are some other things people use? Just so I know what to look out for in the future.
- Any time we texted, they would only answer portions of my texts, so skipping most of it and only choosing to answer one tiny bit out of it.
- They would start to tell a long story and then say, "I'll tell you the rest tomorrow", while never coming back to tell the remainder. I would never follow back up because it's something he did a lot, but it always made me upset.
- (I know this one is a form of manipulation, confirmed by him.) However, if I said something like I was sick, feeling down, or not feeling well, he'd reply with "K". Later when asked why answer "K" to a friend who said they weren't feeling well, he specifically said "people tear their minds apart trying to figure out why the person only put K".

Hi, I'm hoping to get some advice while I wait for my doctors appointment next week.
36 F
Diagnoses:
- Bipolar disorder
- Obesity with insulin resistance
- Psoriasis
Medications:
- Tremfya
- Zepbound 2.5mg
- Lithium 300mg BID
- Magnesium daily
Complaints:
- Severe constipation
- Some GERD/reflux
- Some bloating
- No nausea, loss of appetite or abdominal pain
Context:
- Starting 2 weeks ago, I've had pretty severe constipation and some increased weight loss. I've lost about 30 lbs in 6 months, but lost 6 lbs in a week two weeks ago and 3 lbs last week.
- Two weeks ago I didn't defecate for about 5 days, tried several doses of miralax, a bottle and a half of mag citrate and nothing was working. Then I had an iced gingerbread chai from Starbucks and that seemed to clear everything out.
- Normal bowel movements for 3 days and then severe constipation. Starting 3 days ago, I began taking dulcolax stool softener (3 pills) , drinking even more water (I drink about 100 oz per day), tried drinking 2 glasses of milk (hoping my lactose intolerance would fix it). 2 days ago I took one stimulant dulcolax pill and then started miralax doses on the hour every hour for 6 hours. Had one very small liquid bowel movement.
- Today took another dose of miralax, walked some flights of stairs, had hot tea and did abdominal massages. Have had 2 very small mostly liquid bowel movements.
Questions:
- What can I do to fix this? I'm concerned since when I did a colonoscopy 8 months ago and did bowel prep I pooped within 1 hour. This is highly unusual
- Not sure why I'm not having any abdominal pain either. Is that normal? Last time I fixed this I legitimately lost 4lbs from just pooping.

hi! today I am 5 days post op, I had a coronectomy on my bottom wisdom teeth. the top two were extracted as normal. my right side, looks a bit more reddish than the left, is this concerning? I have stitches on the top and I believe the stitches are hitting the gum making it irritated. I’m so terrified of infection, i’m currently taking the antibiotic my surgeon prescribed and doing salt water rinses 5x daily. (I was not given a syringe). my post op appointment is December 9th. does everything look relatively okay? 😭
