I switched to a full face mask a month and a half ago because my nose tends to clog when sleeping (I take Zyrtec and Flonase, deviated septum fixed. Still an issue). I find myself waking up every 4 hours with a very dry mouth from mouth breathing. I had less dry mouth from nasal pillows.
I use my humidifier every night. I could use a chin strap but don’t find them very effective. I have a cpap pillow. My mask fits okay and the machine says no leaks but I also occasional wake up from mask shifting due to pillow pressure.
What am I missing?

2024.12.01 01:41 No_Account2014 Help with finding hotel discounts, grants to apply for, or RMH for housing during medical care treatment
One of our children has medical conditions that will require us to travel out of state for treatment and be there for 2-3 weeks. I asked the social work hospital department if we could request to stay at RMH house even if part of the days they told me tell the department scheduler I did she replied RMH said they don’t have availability. I asked can we be put on a waitlist?? She said they told her availability won’t change. This is in California and the hotels and Airbnb’s are ALOT. Our family could make it work for a week but 2-3 will be very difficult or not likely. I was honest with the medical care team but they didn’t offer solutions and said yes all the days are required to be there.
If anyone knows anywhere else other than RMH I can apply? Or grants? Financial assistance for families to have accommodations while at hospitals I would appreciate it so much. Thank you.

2024.12.01 01:41 riceninesix I'm dying of cancer and I can't stop giving myself panic attacks because I don't want to die
I don't know how to get out of my own head because I have cancer and I can feel the pressure of it pushing on my stomach 24/7 so it's literally all I can think about and almost nothing takes my mind off of it and if I do get distracted it only last a short time and I'm back to thinking about the cancer and how I'm dying again. Night time is the worst because my house gets quiet and all I have is time to think and that's when I start to really freak myself out and give myself panic attacks because I don't want to die it's such a scary thing and I wish I believed in God or something just so I had some sort of hope after I die but I truelly just feel that when you die you just see black for eternity and that's so scary to think about and just thinking about not existing anymore and how much stuff I'm gonna miss and I love my family so much i want to be there for their moments especially my 10 year old niece. Life is beautiful but life is cruel so hug your loved ones because tomorrow is never guaranteed. Sorry for the venting I'm sure nobody cares but it was a decent distraction now I'll go back to being trapped in my own head and freaking out
