Grew up extremely atheist and I'm at a point in my life where I want to explore different religions! Right now my main is reconstructionist Judaism (which I already have books on, participated in a QnA with a rabbi, have researched the conversion process in depth, and feel the strongest towards) but I also want to explore things like Catholicism before I fully commit next year to make sure this is truly where I feel the most home. Since I've been focused on Judaism I have no clue on where to learn about other religions (especially Catholicism). What are the best resources to learning other religions? Where should I go? Thank you!

Has anyone's pixel 8 pro camera consistently take photos that are just not what your eyes saw? I have to almost always edit them using the enhance, or dynamic, settings to make the photos appear closer to what my eyes saw. It's like reviewers say, the photos by default are "cooler" or darker and more dull, but also some times it casts a white hue than the realistic nice warm light reflection.
I noticed this happen more during day than night time...
I am talking about the main and ultra wide angle lenses, just default point and shoot - the zoom lens pretty much always take photos as I expect.

Apparently, I donât understand how the SEC playoff structure works. For example, Iâm watching Texas Longhorns vs. Texas A&M, and it says the winner of this game goes to the SEC Championship. But at the same time, Oklahoma is playing LSU. How does that make sense if this is the âfinal gameâ to decide who advances?
Are Oklahoma and LSU playing for something else? Is this because Texas is in the SEC West and Oklahoma is in the East, or are both games part of the same playoff structure? How can multiple games be happening if this is supposed to be the deciding matchup?

Changed canister purge valve a few days ago now I have these codes and a large evap leak went to a âsmall evap leakâ also the reader said it was the fuel pump I didnât think so because a few days ago nothing about the fuel pump popped up until I replaced the canister purge valve. But whatâs crazier now is the car doesnât move I press the gas nothing happens tires donât move did the transmission fail? Can a failing fuel pump cause this?

Hi, Iâm(23f) looking for some perspective on a disagreement I had with my boyfriend.(23m)
He told me about a conversation he had with a friend, Alex, who is transitioning. Alex mentioned changes to their body, including breast tenderness. While I completely support Alex's transition and my boyfriend being there for them, I told him I felt uncomfortable with the level of detail in that conversation and tried to express why it felt like a boundary issue for me.
My boyfriend got upset and said I was overstepping by bringing it up, that itâs his friendship, and that I was being controlling and even transphobic for saying the discussion made me uncomfortable. I genuinely donât think I said or did anything transphobic; I was just trying to talk about what feels appropriate in relationships when it comes to discussing intimate or personal details about someone else.
I asked if we could have an open dialogue about it, but he shut me down, said he was done with the conversation, and accused me of making everything about myself. I feel really hurt and like my feelings are being dismissed.
Am I overreacting by feeling like this is a boundary issue worth discussing?

Always trying to learn more and get better and I have come to the conclusion that pressing my mouthpiece into my lips is really hurting my endurance/range. I can squeak out a B above the staff if I really load up by my practical range is a G on top of the staff. Prettyâs sure the mouth pressure is limiting my endurance too as sometimes I am too tired to play above a C in the middle of the staff after just a couple of songs. Any tips/exercises on how to correct this would be greatly appreciated!

My only time I leave the house where I live alone or interact with other humans is staying with my mom and dad. I go to their house about 10 days a month so they can provide me care. My sisters come over and stay for holidays and I love seeing them, even if I crash. One sister has a 3 year old in day care and an infant and works at a public school with 3rd graders. Of course, they got me sick.
I canât handle being sick. I already feel like death on the daily. Iâm super nervous about being permanently bed bound from getting any virus at all. My ME/CFS started in 2018, and is suspected an unknown viral (plus mild trigger) onset. Since then, Iâve gotten sick two times, and each time I got permanently worse.
My sister says I have to judge if itâs worth it to see my niece and nephew and her pretty much ever again vs getting sick. Obviously they are all I have in my life and my source of happiness, so I want to see them. But whatâs âworth itâ even mean but I could never leave bed again from seeing them?? And my parents see my sister and her kids daily, so I just never see my family again? We stay in the same house, my parentâs, when together so masking 24/7 would be difficult, especially when Iâm mainly sleeping all day and my main time to see everyone is to eat together.
Anyone else navigate very difficult decisions around seeing family and staying with family for care when it could mean getting sick?
