So lately I've been feeling kinda depressed, and I don't really know why. Hello - I am in search of a new travel backpack. I have used the Atlas Supply Co Minimalist backpack for the last five years and have absolutely loved it. Unfortunately the backpack is starting to fall apart and I am not sure I can repair it. Even worse, this company no longer exists - i also cannot link to their old website as it redirects to another company that feels off.
Things that I loves about this pack 1 ) there is an internal divider so has separare top and bottom pockets/compartments 2 ) with the divided in place, the bottom pocket is only accessible via a side zip 3 ) fits a 15"-16" laptop in a separate compartment 4 ) has internal smaller pockets for passports and other important documents 5 ) top pocket is secured by a zipper that is then covered by a flap
Things I dont love as much 1) the backpack is leather and so requires upkeep (which ive failed at) and it also somewhat heavy
I've looked at a lot of camera backpacks but none of them are what im looking for. They either don't have side access or have a zipper that runs the full-length of the pack. I was also hoping for something in waved cavnas, but am willing to compromise on this, especially if it makes the pack more waterproof.
The key features for me are two internal compartments with top access for one and side access for the other. Plus, can carry a 15"-16" laptop in a separate compartment.
Anyone have any suggestions?
