I recently got a new game that wouldn’t start because of an issue with graphics and that I don’t have the required graphics for the game. I then tried updating the graphic card from some kind of Nvidia app.
I now got the “a d3d11-compatible gpu (feature level 11.0 shader model 5.0) is required to run the engine” So I followed someone’s guide from YouTube and tried it out, This didn’t work and when I later tried to start a game it wasn’t starting or acting slow/laggy. When checking my computers performance is saw that my CPU was through the roof.
None of these issues were there before and I I have no idea what to do. I’m asking the geniuses of Reddit to give it their best shot!

I volunteer at a Children's Christmas party (there are usually about 150 kids that come). The party is the afternoon of December 14th. The Elves (Evergreen Happy Glitterballs - nickname Vanilla, Tipsy Gingerbread McSnowball - nickname Pudding, Cookie Nipper McJingles - nickname Snowy, and Perky Glittercheeks - nickname Lucky) would really like to go. Santa and some of his helpers will be there to visit with the kids and handout gifts. Is it OK if they attend? I know I'll have to make them promise to be good as they have been known to be a bit crazy. When those 4 are together you never know what kind of mischief they might get into (have a party in the middle of a pizza, make a mess in the kitchen making cookies, wrap up the dog in garland, use the ceiling fan as a merry go round, have a party in the fridge, have a sugar cube fight with Frosty the Snowman, hang out in the Christmas tree, redecorate the front door wreath, tied up Rudolph in ribbon and taped him to a mirror.... Just a few of the things they've done!) So what do you think, is it OK that they go?

2024.12.01 01:32 alig98 Urgent Care Doctor told me I wasn’t iron deficient/anemic but results showed otherwise and PCP confirmed it later, is this malpractice?
26F, 5’3, 210lbs, meds: 36mg methylphenidate, 20mg omeprazole, guanfacine 1mg (temporarily discontinued due to fainting). dx: IBS/gerd, ADHD, PCOS, endometriosis
A month ago, I went to urgent care because I’ve been having episodes of almost fainting, where if I don’t force myself to lay on the ground immediately I will lose consciousness. I have a very physical job and I’ve been calling out a lot because of this constant exhaustion, dizziness, and fainting.
Anemia runs in my family and I’m a vegetarian, so when I went to urgent care I explicitly asked if I was anemic or iron deficient. The doctor took an EKG and ran some blood tests, and messaged me that all my results were normal and to follow up with my PCP. However, MyChart sent me the tests results and they had multiple “abnormal” results, including a low MCH (25.8 pg), and low MCHC (31.9 g/dL). A quick google search says that these indicate anemia.
However, I couldn’t get back in contact with the urgent care provider, so I had to wait a month to get into my PCP, which showed a low MCV (79.9fL) and MCH (26.0 pg), and most importantly, an extremely low ferretin level of 7ng/mL. The first doctor never tested my iron despite me explicitly asking, and my PCP said I had low iron stores.
I am extremely frustrated because my hair has been falling out, I’ve been sick and missing work and unable to do basic things like mow the lawn, and there was a time I almost passed out while driving on the freeway that could’ve caused irreparable harm to myself and others. I feel like the urgent care provider missed this VERY obvious condition and made me wait/suffer for a whole month to be told the opposite of what they said, and in that time I could’ve caused serious harm to myself or others. I just feel like this doctor needs to know they missed a VERY COMMON condition despite me explicitly asking to be tested for those things, and having numerous obvious risk factors (vegetarian, family history). I don’t want them to be punished, to just not be so dismissive of me this time.
Is there a reason why this doctor told me I’m fine and am I missing something, or am I justified in wanting to make a complaint? Thanks.

He says I'm crazy. I think he's gaslighting me.
We've been married 12 years. This sort of thing happens from time to time and I'm fed up.
Our daughter (my stepdaughter) plays college ball in a town about 1.5 hours away. She had a game today, and my husband had planned to ride up here with a friend from out of town, then ride back home with me.
About 3 hours before the game, I was getting out of the shower when he came to tell me that the weather was bad there, couple inches of snow & expecting more. They had already canceled the boy's game, but were still on for the girl's game. He told me that his parents weren't going anymore, either, because of the weather. Not realizing that any snow was expected at all, I was taken aback. At this time, I expressed disappointment because I was looking forward to the game & doing some Christmas shopping while there.
I finished getting ready & joined him in the living room, where he noticed I was wearing our daughter's team shirt. He asked, in a surprised tone, if I was still planning to go to the game. I said no, that was just what I'd brought into the bathroom to wear after my shower. He proceeded to show me the weather radar map to see how bad it was, and was telling me all about how one of his friends actually slid into a ditch in the same area.
A short while later, he told me he had to meet someone for a work related thing & asked if I had any plans for the day. I told him I didn't, because I'd planned to go to the game and now didn't have anything to do, really. He said goodbye and left.
A couple hours later he wasn't home and I thought it was strange, so I sent a message asking what he was up to. In reply, he sent a snowy picture of the interstate... on his way to the game. He was driving up there by himself.
Now, mind you, he never said he WASN'T going. He only commented how bad the roads were getting, how his parents had decided not to go, his buddy had slid off the road up there, they'd cancelled the boy's game, and he showed me the radar map as proof of how much snow they were getting. I had interpreted that collective information to mean that going to the game was out of the question. For everyone.
He says it's my fault for assuming he wouldn't go to the game and pointed out he never SAID he wasn't going. He had some choice words for me, which pretty much amounted to: you're crazy.
As I sat and thought about it.... it's just not adding up. Why wouldn't he have said, "Oh, I'll just plan on driving, since I'd need a ride home anyway, and you shouldn't drive in that weather. We'll just ride together." Rather than work SO hard to convince me of the poor road conditions, never specifically mention going when he told me his plans to meet someone for a work thing, and go anyway. He also never offered when he'd asked my plans and I told him the game was my only plan for the day.
This isn't the first time he's left for a game without me. He's driven separately a couple times and blamed it on another miscommunication, or we've had a fight beforehand and I was too upset to go.
This may or may not be related, but I have high anxiety in public spaces due to sudden hearing loss at 39yo. It has been difficult to have conversations because he has to practically shout so I can hear him, and he gets frustrated with that. I just got my perscription hearing aids last Wednesday and was looking forward to how well they would perform in a game environment.
So... am I looking too far into this (AITA)? Or is it reasonable to think there's something weird going on?
