I had an interview on Wednesday and the manager said he will reach out to me within three days; now itās already Sunday and I havenāt received any messages yet. Should I do anything to follow up? I donāt have any ways of contacting them but they do have my phone number (Iām planning to call the general Starbucks customer service number to enquire about the issue)
After the interview I regret some of the answers I provided especially around my availability, but my older sibling has been advising me to reach out back to them after they have sent me a text. It just has been over three days already so I am a bit concerned about the status of my application. How would you all suggest going forth?

I'm watching the documentary on early American life after the Louisiana purchase was completed. It primarily revolves around the history of the bison.
We have all seen this story told in one form or another. The destructive nature of how bison were hunted as commodity to the point of being basically extinct.
Listening to how the settlers systematically scaled up industry of killing bison for pelts yet at volume 4 kills were needed to get one decent pelt.
To optimize industry to the point of it cannibalizing itself. Finding ways to clinically earn more at all costs without considering big picture consequences is what humanity has done.
For me I look at this and I accept my mortality. I accept the ugliness of our species. I come at it from a point of view that I hope we can find our collective empathy before we have our inevitable "Don't look up" dinner.

Does anyone have an anecdote about a time when you wished that you were not arresting someone. Now of course, if there was no crime or potential crime that would be better, and I figure you often would prefer that the current situation is not happening, but that's not what I'm getting at. The 'current situation' just is what it is (for this post).
So, you're arresting someone because that is what your job requires you to do, but on a personal level you wish that you didn't have to? (Not just because you wish that they hadn't committed a crime.) Or maybe you're arresting someone that you personally don't feel like they should be getting taken in or punished, but your job requires you to do so? I guess I just asked the same question two different ways, but I think you can see what I'm getting at. Thanks!

Hi Hope you are all well I am on HFC I was speaking to my rep at Telstra and he put an order through to upgrade us to the ultrafast plan. He put it through on Friday and it still is saying in progress. I am wondering why it hasn't gone through yet. There was an issue though with nbn as they enterer half of the street to not be able to get past 100/20 but my rep put a form through to nbn and they fixed it and then that is when we placed the order. I was wondering how long will it be until i see the order be completed and i see the speed change? Sorry for the yap. Look forward to hearing your thoughts

I donāt know if im able to ask about this here or talk about this but I think im driving myself insane and i really need answers from someone, anyone, about this.
Iām not a religious person and Iāve always been against religion because of everything thatās happened to me when I was younger and things that have happened to me throughout my life. Recently, Iāve been thinking about God more. I donāt know if I believe in him because of again everything that keeps happening to me.
I donāt know what to do. Does God hate me? I feel like im praying to nothing and im alone. Why does He make everything bad happen to me? Everytime I ask someone about this, they just say that God is giving me strength but I donāt need strength anymore. I never needed strength. I was a child.
I would really appreciate it if someone could give me their opinion about all of this. What do I do if He hates me? How can I get out of this cycle? I donāt want to be so alone anymore. Iām just a teenager trying to live.

USA 29 and Muslim. Most of my fun outings 21+ like sporting events, bars, clubs, casinos, and etc have come when I was away from home like college and graduate school. I dropped out of graduate school 2.5 years ago, spent 1.5 years looking, and started job 1 year ago only making $17-19 an hour so decided to stay at home for a year. Planning to move out when searching for a higher paying role that can afford me to move out.
I wonāt move out until Iām 29 and possibly 30.
I always had a hard time doing outings when living at home because I just canāt really get myself to have the guts to ask my family if I can go out especially at night. I never really tried asking them before especially night outings. How ever I did do some saying time lunch outings and things during daytime hours and they were okay with it. I recently asked if I could go out and theyāre okay with it and then I heard them saying this is why Iām where Iām at in life Iām more interested in this than improving my income and etc as a 29 year old. I havenāt even done one social outing the past 2.5 years and feel like Iām wasting my 20ās so I finally decided to ask. Then they starting say not to drink and be careful like whenever I do go to those type of places I donāt drink.
Iām not sure if I want kids or not and hopefully can get my partying out in 30ās but itās just cooler to party in 20ās imo. Itās just nice not having to ask anyone if I can go out like if I was on my own.

I feel as if most people who have watched other critically acclaimed crime dramas such as The Sopranos and The Wire always tend to realise that Breaking Bad isnāt as good as they once thought, I feel as if most people who claim BB to be the āclear winnerā for greatest show of all time have been accustomed to shit TV for most of their lives. I feel as if Breaking Bad was a great one time view, however you kind of move on from it, The Sopranos and a few other shows after you watch them, they follow you through life and no matter how long ago you watched it, you still like to watch clips from the show or even rewatch the whole thing again to pick up new details. Breaking Bad had a lot of plot holes and its super unrealistic setting and characters automatically remove it from any conversation for āgreatest of all timeā. I feel like the show was and still is a gateway for a lot of people to get into older masterpieces, but I feel as if anyone who has watched The Sopranos, The Wire and Breaking Bad tends to put BB #3 or #2 at best.

Was getting 10-15k xp on prop hunt last night. Now Iām getting 3K objective score and destroying 4-8 props a game and Iām gettin FIVE THOUSAND. 5K. With double XP. Completely nerfed it. This is ridiculous dude. Changing the amount of XP given mid event is disgusting. It makes prop hunt unbearable to play during a double xp weekend. Gonna check other game modes, but Iāve already seen how itās been an issue for everyone on search and com ect.
