 | I got this to use mainly for an e brake, using rubber bands to pull it forward so i i can pull the full thing down. But I can't help but feel it would serve me better as a sequential shifter. Problem is, my logitech 6 speed does the job well enough when using the rubber band trick. I'm also worried the middle of the joystick would be a dead zone for the ebrake. But then I run into the issue of the logitech just being on. Yall got any ideas? I know it isn't ideal, but 10 bucks is 10 bucks lol. The LSU product should keep on rolling on Sunday against a Pittsburgh Steelers defense that has quietly not gotten to the quarterback as much over the past five weeks.
Pittsburgh’s offense got off to a hot start when Russell Wilson took over as the starting quarterback from Justin Fields, but the Steelers rank near the bottom of the league in both success rate and passing success rate over the past five weeks. The narrative around Wilson and the offense has mostly been positive, as his mediocre performances have gone a bit under the radar due to the Steelers still picking up wins during this stretch. With that said, all of this could change this week against a Cincinnati team that is in a must-win spot at home.
Pick #2: Chargers vs Falcons Over 47.5 (-110)
The Chargers were rolling on the defensive side of the ball until they found themselves up against the Bengals and Ravens in consecutive weeks. Both of those offenses moved the ball at will in their respective games, to the tune of a combined 57 points scored against Los Angeles in those contests. This week, the Chargers have to make a cross-country road trip to Atlanta on a short week to play a Falcons team that is coming off a much-needed bye week following a demoralizing loss to Denver. This is a dangerous spot for a beleaguered Los Angeles defense against Kirk Cousins and a Falcons offense that needs a bounce-back showing in the worst way at home.
While the Falcons offense should bounce back, don’t expect the same from Atlanta’s defense in this one. Given that the Falcons are one of the worst defenses in football at generating pressure consistently, Justin Herbert should have plenty of time to stand in the pocket and pick apart the Atlanta secondary for big gains in this one. Both offenses have real advantages here, so the over is the only way we can look at this matchup.
Pick #3: Eagles +3 over Ravens (-110)
Things looked bleak in September, but the Eagles have completely turned their season around on both sides of the ball. Philadelphia has as strong of a statistical profile as any team in the NFL at the moment, and it’s shown over the past couple of months, as this Eagles team has rattled off seven straight wins coming out of their bye week to assume total control of the top spot in the NFC East. Philadelphia boasts one of the most complete offenses in the league in almost any advanced metric, while the Eagles' defense is firing on all cylinders at the moment, sitting inside the top five in EPA per play and checking in only behind the Lions in points per drive allowed during this impressive winning streak.
As for the hosts, while this is a spot in which Baltimore traditionally excels under head coach John Harbaugh, the Ravens have not been nearly as crisp offensively against very good defenses this season. That script sets up nicely against an Eagles defense on the rise heading into this week's matchup. Even though Lamar Jackson is having the best year of his career to this point, the Philadelphia defense should be able to generate a consistent pass rush and bottle up Baltimore on the ground. As for Baltimore’s defense, the Ravens could be in trouble against a red-hot Saquon Barkley playing at the peak of his powers, along with an Eagles receiving corps that should be healthier for this massive matchup. Expect Philadelphia to at least stay within a field goal in this one.

On my first round, I try to keep myself from jumping to conclusions, and just respect the story as it is unraveled, taking it in, scene by scene. This show stuck with me. I have been reading here and doing a little outside of social media about the story- a post here the other day said Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline wanted us to re watch. Now, my second time watching the second episode, I am inspired to make my first reddit post.
The presenter of Catherine's award, said it right from the start: But Ladies and Gentlemen, Be aware that in the process of exposing her subject, Catherine demonstrates that they can manipulate us only because of our own deeply held beliefs and the judgement we make, and in this way Catherine reveals something more problematic and profound: our own complicity in some of today's more toxic social sins.
I'm catching so many details in this second go- most because of the heads up given by so many here. I'm not convinced Nancy sexually abused Jonathon, but I realized that the first time through, he really comes across as someone's son. I had Nancy on my mind in those scenes, because he looked so awkward and unfamiliar in her story; like someone's kid much more than someone's lover, tryst, rapist. The first time, Catherine's approach being so forward and repetitive was too much, not believable. Too many Kylie's. Makes much more sense that it was a- on the defense mom, trying to cover for her son at all costs. Almost sweet of it wasn't so heinous.
But that explosion Robert just gave her at the end of the second episode that felt justified in the first watch felt unbearably cruel knowing she was a victim. He said, you always have to be the victim, and she blanched and said well, yeah , I am. Then the irony of his statement of don't touch me! As he was leaving. The lens was so much clearer, until my tears blurred them. She really was trying to tell him while being shown pictures of her being attacked after being iced out all evening. She started with- I didn't want you to leave Italy-(I could see she was delicately approaching, maybe to remind him of his role to protect? Maybe to reassure him? He never let's her speak, so we don't know. ) and he just throws insult after insult. Should have listened to your family? It's been 20 years. That's supposed to be her family too. Anyway, there's that.

I love this game and don't want it to end. When I go to see Hanako at Embers it warns me that the game is going to end. But it also seems weird that I've taken this gigantic tangent in Phantom Liberty.
What is the sequence of the main quests that is canon? Here is where I am:
- Hanako waiting at Embers. Forgot what happened to the well dressed Japanese man.
- Haven't seen Julie since I returned the doll lady to her apartment after rescuing her from the pizza joint(?). I actually forgot what happened.
- Rescued Saul. Panam rejoined her crew. She also helped two Bratwurst soldiers escape from Dogtown.
- Passed the Kurt Hansen bit.
- I have no idea where the Silverhand issue is at this point. Is Hanako going to solve it or does it get resolved in the DLC?
- I took the ice bath with the Voodoo Queen.

Where and how to begin? I guess I’ll begin with ethics (I.e., moral principles) and an acknowledgment that these vary across individuals. Especially under capitalism, it seems that flexible ethics can really benefit some folks who are comfortable having more at the expense of others having less. It may be much easier to get ahead if you treat pesky things like “intellectual property” or “laws” as suggestions rather than rules.
For instance, my wheelhouse on Whatnot is Lululemon. I resell gently preloved clothing that is generally in excellent condition but I also sell some accessories that are brand new with tags. I source these directly from Lululemon, but many other people use “suppliers” that provide counterfeit products. They bear identical logos and near-perfect tags, but aren’t manufactured and sold by Lululemon, yet are passed off to consumers as authentic.
So, what are the ethical issues involved here, illegality notwithstanding? Is it okay to sell counterfeit products if you tell your consumers that the product is “custom” or “inspired”? What if you put your own spin on the logo? What if any reasonable consumer would know that the replica isn’t authentic? Does it matter that you’re profiting off someone else’s brand as long as they have plenty of money already? Is it only an issue when targeting small brands or individuals? And how about the construction and quality of the counterfeit products itself? Is it okay if you can verify that the laborers were paid living wages? Worked under safe conditions? Weren’t children?
To my knowledge, it’s illegal to sell counterfeits, but it isn’t illegal to buy them. Consumers may say, “well I know it’s fake but it’s a good enough fake and I can’t afford the authentic one’s price”. This person is essentially saying they condone the seller’s actions and feel that either it shouldn’t be illegal to sell counterfeits OR even if it is criminal, it’s acceptable and deserving of their money.
Here’s part of my concern (which absolutely extends further as you’ll see). When one consumer makes the decision that the dicey and sheisty ethics of counterfeits don’t bother them, they can choose to make the purchase. However, I don’t feel that they have the standing to argue with other consumers who, in my opinion, deserve to be informed and to make their own choices. Some folks will take a consumer asking questions in the comment section and sprint to the defense of the seller like Usain Bolt. They pounce on the person bold enough to raise a concern or pose a challenge like the seller needs all the king’s horses and all the king’s men to piece their fragile egos back together again.
Let me remind everyone; the person in a position of power during live shows is the seller. They can appoint moderators and mute specific words and they can remove anyone from their stream for any reason. They can also control the narrative by either telling their followers that questions are welcome or they can become belligerent and the mob mentality follows. It pains me to see droves of “supporters” piling on to individuals who provide resistance to the flow of a scam artist’s show.
I understand the financial incentive for some sellers who do shady shit. I understand the desire to feel popular on Whatnot which is a hybrid selling and social platform. However, what is the incentive for these ride-or-die people ready to “take a bullet” for their favorite sellers? What gets their goat so much that they freak out when their idol is challenged even a little bit? Why are we idolizing ANYONE to the point of dismissing or outright ignoring legitimate concerns about their character? Wouldn’t you want to consider the evidence and SURE, hear the seller out, too. But why dismiss dissent out of hand? What may not be relevant to you (e.g., “everyone has a past, who cares?”) is completely fair game for other consumers to be informed of so that they can choose where to spend their money.
This other argument I’ve heard is that everyone deserves to make it on Whatnot. Don’t bring up anything outside the Here and Now of what they’re doing on the platform; the rest is irrelevant and they deserve to have a successful business. In fact, these challenges may even be considered harassment and YOU could lose your selling privileges. But…really? EVERYONE deserves to make it no matter what they’ve done in the past? I agree if the “skeletons in their closet” have nothing to do with commerce or the person’s character. You smoked weed before it was legal? Give me a break. You washed a pair of red socks with the white linens? I’m over it. However, if your past bullshit directly speaks to who you are as a person, or how you mismanage your business, you’d better believe I’m going to make the choice to give my coin and my time and my support to someone more deserving.
Part of my stance on this is due to the fact that Whatnot is not just buying and selling; it’s relationship-building and community for many people. That said, dear reader, do not confuse a seller’s love-bombing for authentic affection. Don’t look at giveaways as pure altruism. The seller DOES benefit from running giveaways in several ways. First, if it’s a follower only giveaway, they gain numbers which can be seen as an indicator of trust and success in the community. Because the winner must still be in the live show to remain eligible, the seller gains a somewhat captive audience to attempt to sell to while the giveaway is running. Giveaways can also be abused as virtue signaling, in which the seller seeks to gain social capital as benevolent and generous. Perhaps compensating for something else that is severely lacking?
How to end this rant? Be suspicious. Avoid toxic positivity that can be used to mask warranted criticism. Protect your resources, whether that’s your mental energy or your money. I mean, I want Whatnot to be a positive environment for all, and I wish the bad apples weren’t able to spread their rot among the orchard. When you spend your time with the right sellers, it can be fantastic. However, if either your gut or reputable evidence suggests someone you’ve enjoyed in the past is actually a cotton-candy-covered-turd…maybe don’t keep eating.
I wish it would go without saying, but I am NOT promoting harassment either on or off the WN platform. But also, if you’re going to choose a hill to die on, again…maybe make sure it isn’t just a turd.

This will probably come as an obvious post to someone with more docker experience, but I spent a significant amount of time having to figure this out, so this post serves to hopefully help someone else and documentation for myself for when this inevitably breaks something.
Having a second container network defined in the hudu compose file and associated with the app service seems to prevent the primary hudu2_default from functioning (this may be a a known docker limitation). Adding the hudu2_default network to the NPM container allowed NPM to be able to reference the hudu app service directly with the destination configured as http://hudu2-app-1:3000. Below are the necessary configuration files - I think this is everthing but it's possible I missed something because of how much different stuff I attempted.
