I am easy going and typically have a positive attitude. I like to joke around but I don’t want to take the jokes too far and be serious when it’s necessary. I am more of a homebody but I’m not opposed to going out and being adventurous. I’m a night owl. I also like organization and order so I’m not really the messy type.
I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, working out, watching stuff, video games, podcasts, being in the sun, etc.

Hi, I have a dji mavic air 2 and I am brainstorming a project where I’d need to get volumetric measurements of trash in the city after parades and celebrations. Issue is I have only a couple of hours between 2am-4am where I can take the pictures post parade and pre cleanup at 4:30am by the city.
I am trying to do photogrammetry to maybe get volumetric measurements of the trash, there’s piles and piles of trash. Maybe a %area coverage too. Like so much trash it’s hard for me to wrap my head around.
Do I put flood lights on? Idk add a flashlight and hope it works? I’m trying to do multiple flights over the parade route so I can’t stay in one spot for super long. Goal is to get 2/3 segments done over the 2 hours at the middle of the night.

Hi everyone I’ve been planning to apply to transfer to UMiami for Fall 2025 and I just wanted to share my stats to maybe get some feedback or my likelihood of getting in and if there is anything I could do to increase my chances?
Stats: -Sophomore with a little over credit hours (would be around 45 after this semester) -GPA: 3.7 -Major: Psychology (with a gpa of 3.9) -I am part of my current university student government -I am part of a philanthropic organization as well that raises money for hospitals in my city (I live in KY) -I am also a research assistant for a psychology research lab -I worked for my university housing over the summer
I also did extra curriculars in high school but I don’t know if those are worth mentioning. I do plan to ask for a letter of recommendation from my lab instructor. Any feedback or thoughts on if there is anything I can do to stand out will be appreciated! Thank you!

I grew up in a fundamentalist high control religious community, so naturally I people pleased my way through my childhood.
A little bit ago in therapy (I don’t even remember exactly what we were working on) but we must have worked on something because I have just felt completely unmotivated to connect with people at all. Everyone feels taxing. I just keep to myself and I think I’ve always been a little un-curious about others and reluctant to get to know them, but I think I hid it with a bright bubbly personality.
But now I just feel depressed. I feel the way I did all those years under that cheery personality, this miserable, out of place, can’t seem to find my community kid. I feel stuck, like my people are out there but no where near me. Even connections I know I have just feel distant and unfulfilling. I’m also feeling really tired of trying to find a romantic connection, and I’ve been trying to find a home to call my own, and it just feels like it’s going nowhere, so I think I feel like my future feels stagnant and like I can’t move forward.
I don’t really know what to make of all this. I just feel down.

In 2nd year of my most recent dynasty run I had UCONN a shock 11-1 regular season, defeat Penn St in AAC finals [Trump mandated strict geographical conferences] then received the 3 seed in CFP. Beat Kansas State and Alabama on way to NCG.
Trailing 21 to 24 against Texas i scored go ahead touchdown with 0:12 on the clock. Kicked off and Texas took over at their 15yd line with 0:09 showing on the clock.
I lost 30 to 28 because they hit an 82 yard touchdown pass somehow wide open in zone coverage that was not at all how the play looked in the play book when I selected it.

Group 2:- Manjari/Anandathi Mature adults Has years of experiences Can articulate their views and has solid command over their language Has confidence to stand and fight.
Common thing : Has lied Love gossips Initiated fights
When group 1 is questioned, everyone seems to enjoy. When both the people in group 1 cry - people get really happy and when group 2 is being questioned, there's sympathy votes & to the extend of name calling the host.
Do we feel group 2 is superior because they have a strong command over the language and can express themselves?
Does no else see the prejudice stance / hypocrisy of the audience..aka "us"?

With the holidays here and the hype and community around fresh servers, it has me reminiscing about my journey with this game, and wondering what story every player that I pass or see in the death log in hardcore has behind them too.
I remember one story almost 20 years ago, playing my first Molten Core raid at 12yrs old on my original gnome Warlock still rocking his super sweet Enchanted Gold Bloodrobe (let’s just say he was less than pre-raid BIS). I was on the family computer in the basement and was with my guild
We moved and progressed to Geddon next, with the old crazy huge arc strategy in the back of Garr’s room, where all 8 groups spread to be able to run out under the low ceiling for the bomb but also not kill the whole raid if someone messes up. We had him low and almost killed when the dreaded happened - Bed Time. My dad called down the steps that it was time to log off for the night. I sadly told the team over TS with my squeaky voice and the Guild Leader (her name was Gozinme with her co-guild leader husband Gozinya, I loved their names) pleaded for me to ask my dad if I could play a bit longer. I ran upstairs and must have sounded crazy explaining how 39 other real life people were depending on me and that I couldn’t let them down. I’m sure he never understood but he must have seen how important it was to me and agreed. I returned to TS to cheers and we killed Geddon a few pulls later. The Guild Leader asked me to thank my dad, which I did when I finally logged off.
What a crazy cool thing about this game, where 39 likely adult players treat a 12 year old kid with that respect and community, to work together as equals to do something great.
It is now 20 years later and I’m a married adult myself, and lost my father last year over the Thanksgiving holiday. The last week logging back into a fresh Warlock on hardcore has been bittersweet and cathartic, remembering the good times of the past and being painfully aware of how different everything is. Except for Elwynn.. and Goldshire, those places never change.
What are your stories with this game? Why do you still play? What is your incentive for going agane?
