So how do you get over a lethal misplay. Like a straight up “they were tapped out and I had lethal if I used my Giant Growth…and I forgot to cast it”
Like “you just need to get over it” is true…but doesn’t explain HOW. I was stupid and it can’t be fixed. Things are now worse than they could have been…should have been…..
Also please don’t say “it’s just a game” or “it was an arena draft not the pro tour calm down”….like yeah I get magnatude of the harm is super low…but I’m trying to use this to contextualize and learn to “get over” more, bigger irl stuff…sometimes engaging sincerely on a small topic can help frame and solve a bigger topic.

For reference, I work at a job where I have to install operating systems on a LOT of macbooks. Literally hundreds. And EVERY. SINGLE. GOD DAMN TIME. When I least expect it, the install finishes, and what do I have to hear at maximum volume for the ten thousandth time?
MAC OS HAS A BUILT IN SCREEN READER CALLED VOICEOVER. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO USE VOICEOVER- NO! NO I FUCKING DO NOT! Now, I understand that this accessibility feature is nice for people who need it, and most people who don't aren't installing the operating systems over and over again. But for someone like me, it makes me want to smash my head into a brick wall until I go unconscious. So if anyone knows of a way to create an installer that does not do this, it would be greatly appreciated.

2024.12.01 04:40 Electronic-Map-1771 Why are my bullets not registering?
In the clip, you can see that while I'm spraying with the Phantom, my bullets suddenly stop firing, even though I'm holding down the fire button. The shooting graph in the top-right also shows the bullets stopping, despite me holding the button continuously. It almost looks like I'm tap-firing. Could this be caused by packet loss? My ping is 28, so I'm unsure. Or is it a hardware issue with my mouse? In the game, it seems like I’m still shooting, but it doesn't register. I’ve seen countless posts regarding the annoyance of how long it takes to acquire mythril shirts & hyper boots on the lucky wheels in tolbi by save scumming, so I figured I’d share my experiences.
I too spent countless hours save scumming and reloading my saves after every spin on the wheels to try and obtain the mythril shirts & hyper boots, until I discovered this;
You have to win something of lesser value before the algorithm lets you win the higher end items. For example, I bet 1 line and won a silk shirt, then instead of reloading my previous save, I decided to try and spin again. I bet 1 line again and immediately won the mythril shirt.
I was about to give up and wait til I transfer my data over to TLA so I could do the Trial Road glitch, but now that I’ve discovered this, I will just spend a little more time here. Now, if I don’t immediately win the mythril shirt or hyper boots upon my 2nd spin, then I’ll reload the save. Good luck out there adepts!

 | I bought an MSI Katana A17 AI B8V laptop from Costco, and was going through the motions updating apps, drivers, etc. It came with a 1 TB NVMe Samsung MZVL81T0HELB-00BTW SSD, and I d/l the Samsung Magician app for it. Unfortunately, the drive shows up as N/A in Drive Health. I can run the benchmark but none of the other options are supported. This may be do to it possibly being an OEM SSD but can't find any evidence to support this. I'm probably going to swap out the SSD later but was curious if I am indeed running into some sort of HW and/or SW limitation or...? I checked out my BIOS settings but it's very rudimentary w/ few options & info.
