So, something I noticed a long time ago and always thought weird. In the Witch's message "Surrender Dorothy", there's no comma after "Dorothy" which would indicate she's not ordering Dorothy herself to surrender, but telling the town to give up Dorothy to her. Was this intentional? Or just a mistake that never got fixed before the movie came out?

I need help!!! I’m currently on my 2nd day of not having any weed and I feel all over the place emotionally and physically. I’ve been smoking since I was 14 and I’m 25 now I’ve come to realise that marijuana was not helping me anymore and was only numbing/covering my pain I do abuse and smoke way more then I needed I was never able to control myself. I find myself lacking in so much motivation I don’t enjoy any of my old hobbies and I feel like I can’t do or go anywhere without having it before and after I have definitely come reliant. I currently don’t have a job as I had to take a bit of time off for my mental health as I suffer with depression.

The girl however is way older than him. Like 6 to 7 yrs older. He tells me they are very close and they even talk about certain intimate things.  | Hello! We've had our little Bailey for 3 weeks now and it's definitely been a Rollercoaster! We hired a trainer and are doing E Collar training (not shock pls look up if don't know!!) it was going pretty well, she sleeps beside me in the crate pretty well at night but she HATES the crate during the day and will scream for hours if left, and isn't afraid of pee/poo in crate. We follow trainers instructions, wash and then put back in. But the constant screaming is driving me nuts. And she gets really defiant when she wants to bite, doesn't listen to "place" command and will growl/bark/bite more. Any advice?! We love our trainer and trust his advise, please don't try to bash the training style we are doing, rather would like to hear similar experience from someone. How long does it last? Help!! I worked hard to be able to dash anytime and get better pay. Last night I dashed for 5.5 hours and made $190. TodayI started off my dash for the first time as platinum dasher and was met with a $2 order for 6 miles. I accepted because I didn’t want to lose my status. I then dashed 7 hours and only received $118. Yesterday I used $10 in gas. Today I used $30. This is the biggest false advertising I have ever seen in my life. I have receipts and screenshots just waiting to meet a class action lawsuit lawyer. I know I cant be the only one. This is my third winter doing DoorDash. I own a successful business between March and November but have relied on this for the winter. I am now going to tank my ar and see if that helps while I search for employment. Sad to see a good thing die. However after the manipulation from the algorithm and seeing how they treat good dashers just trying to make a living I personally hope they go bankrupt or are charged with actual criminal charges.

The holidays can sometimes be difficult for me and this year was the same aside from sobriety which I’m so thankful for! Alcohol wasn’t really a big part of our dinner but I found myself wanting to drink out of sheer frustration. I’m still getting over the brain bleed and get overwhelmed easy and forgetful. Having certain family members make a big deal out of some of the residual effects was super irritating. I wanted that wine to quell my worked up nerves which is what I’ve always done with regard to certain family members. Not this time, just allowed myself plenty of space and room to breath whenever things felt heavy. Being back home in the quiet feels so much better :) I hope you all had a happy holiday! IWNDWYT

2024.12.01 04:40 Scoundrel_Swift TN License Suspension for Unpaid Fines
A few years ago a fed judge put a halt to suspension of driving privileges in TN for unpaid court costs. Didn't last long. Shortly after a bill was passed reimplementing the practice with some variation.
Found myself in some trouble about 2 months ago in a particular county outside of Nashville. 3 different arrests in that 2 week period. Misdemeanors non traffic related. This certain county is ROUGH on crime. Can't fight a case with no resources in a 23/1 lockdown jail, so bond out or plead out situation...
No inquiry or determinations were made by any court officials or clerks as to my scenario or ability to pay these fines, whether I was a resident of that county, all that jive. The booking officers at the jail logged my address as homeless each time arrested and knew I was displaced. Big hiking pack with me each time, funky, same raggedy clothes, etc... yeah I know yall.
Court appointed lawyer fella told me there is a form I can submit to be declared indigent, but the clerks almost always deny that declaration/request, and that I can appeal...
No more court pending or trouble now, this county just wants moolah.
It hasn't been 2 months and I'm receiving mail stating that additional penalties have been added to bill for unpaid litigation taxes within 45 days of case settlement, and threatening revokation of my driving privileges. They want around 750 for each of the 3 public intox convictions and around 1500 for the simple poss marijuana.
To wrap this up, from what I've gathered in this new legal literature is that I should have a year to pay these fines, in which during that time I can request to adhere to a payment plan. Also they need to determine my ability to pay, perhaps? They have implemented payment plans on my behalf right out of the gate for each of these instances. The law states they have to offer a payment plan option, but that shouldn't be a mandatory thing and not without my request? What possible courses of action might I have? Gonna link the statute below.
Maybe should also note that this court makes it a point to not handle these cases in one convenient swoop. Finally see judge after a week in jail for one case. Another court date 3 weeks out for a piddly ole public drunk. Beg the public defender, can we not just ask to DA to run all these cases today to get this behind me? NOPE. Not on the docket. I could go on about these blood vultures, but alas ... I simply don't have ANY money for 'em...
